Multiple sources have confirmed that NC State head coach Will Wade will leave after one season and accept the head coaching job at LSU, whenever it becomes available in the near future.

Wade posted a 20-14 record in his lone season at NC State, finishing 10-8 in the ACC with a loss to Texas in the First Four of the NCAA Tournament.

Hopefully all of IPS takes don't continue on the **** on the university and admin track. The only focus should be on how much of a scumbag wade is and on to the next guy. This news, on top of nil/portal, is really making it a lot easier to check out of state and college sports. Too many things to do with my time to waste as much energy and money on something that at the end of the day is so irrelevant.

I for one am glad he is leaving. I think I am in the minority on this view. Boo go find a coach that wants to be here.
I am pretty sure we can find a coach that can finish higher than a tie for 7th in the league.

I said early in season that his hyperbole reminded me of Chuck Amato great when winning but wears thin when losing

At least Amato did win at a point, and didn't bail on us.

Ok, now that he's (more or less) officially out, seriously, **** that guy. What an unbelievable con job. Jimmy V pose, provided more resources than any of our teams before, hand picked coaching staff, promises of competing, only to underperform, squeak into Dayton and flame out immediately. Unreal stuff.

****. That. Guy.

I'd almost rather see UNC win the next 3 national championships if it meant that LSU didn't make the NCAA tournament one time with him at the helm.
