More interesting question about pitching…what do we do behind Sam? Obviously will depend on the next couple innings to some degree. But do we go Dudan to slam the door…or secondary arms and save our bullets?

I think if it's like this still, Shaffner should take the ball. If it's 6 or so, use Dudan
Need to get our guys some Jif - but if it produces this output I'll allow it.

I'd pitch Marohn for at least an inning, he's an important arm and we haven't used him in the post season, need to knock off the rust. But I'd ride Sam for an long as you can.

It's all love here.
Your "20-3 with Whitaker or Highfill starting" comment on the podcast was eye opening. That means we went 16-17 otherwise. Not great. But this team is definitely built for a best of three or CWS format.

5-2 in Fritton's last 7 starts. Huge part of that is the dispersion of the bullpen with Whitaker healthy. We were about 12-15 outs short a couple of weeks
