No. 10 national seed NC State will advance to a Super Regional matchup at seventh-seeded Georgia (42-15). Schedule details for the Wolfpack's trip to Foley Field in Athens, Georgia, will be provided when they become available.
I highly doubt they change anything. Highfill, Fritton, WhitakerStateFan2001 said:
Should be a good one.
Really solid performance by the pitching staff this weekend.
This weekend seemed to clear up how the staff views our starters.
1. Fritton
2. Whitaker
3. Highfill
It will be interesting to see if they change up to the rotation to fit that. In other words, do we see Whitaker on shorter rest Saturday and Fritton on shorter rest Friday?
I agree. They said specifically this weekend that they didn't want to change the rotation from the regular season. With Highfill, Fritton, and Whitaker starting, Consiglio and Marohn in long relief, and Dudan and Smith closing, that seems like a perfect setup.WilsonWolf said:I highly doubt they change anything. So as long as we don't load the bases 4 times and bat 0-9 LOLSportManagementEngineer said:
Its a really good match-up for us as their pitching staff is mostly right handed (and nothing real special).
They're going to score more than anyone we've seen recently but they'll give them up, too.
Hey at least we loaded the bases 4 times. But point taken.kbdavis33 said:So as long as we don't load the bases 4 times and bat 0-9 LOLSportManagementEngineer said:

So we're on ESPNU, which should lessen the complaints from those that don't have ESPN+.
It will be the announcers first when all the need to do is listen to Andrew Sanders or Tony Haynes on the Varsity Network.Tootie4Pack said:wilmwolf said:

Not so fast my friend. You know somebody has got to complain about something. Some don't get ESPNU….what will they do?
12 noon baseball games in Georgia ? It's too hot to play baseball that time of day.
Or we get preempted because a women's softball game goes too long.Tootie4Pack said:wilmwolf said:

Good news is that the WCWS is scheduled to be finished by Friday.wilmwolf said:Or we get preempted because a women's softball game goes too long.Tootie4Pack said:wilmwolf said:

Folks will find something else to complain about. But the lack of a real ESPN telecast last week was a legitimate complaint.wilmwolf said:

It was absolutely a legitimate complaint. A lot of games were on ESPN regular channels and all our games were on ESPN plus. I ended up getting the Disney bundle package so I could watch our baseball games.
