this Georgia team might be one of the worst fundamental teams I've ever seen. So many little things they have done wrong to complicate this inning..bunt rotations, defensive alignments, outfielders laying back and not attacking balls..it's obvious they have relied solely on their offense all year.

Great job of hitting the ball hard and where they aren't. 12 hits in the inning is unbelievable and the CF for Georgia made a great play to keep us from getting 13 runs. Still a long way to go, but got the shut them off oa any big innings.

I'm not counting chickens before they hatch. That said, I spent a lot of time on our pods and others this week trying to convey that not all Q1 wins are the same and that year long, cumulative stats never ever tell the story in college baseball. We are seeing that so far today.
