Seventh-ranked NC State women's tennis (11-2, 4-1 ACC) is traveling to visit No. 28 Central Florida (7-6) for the third consecutive matchup in the sunshine state in a week. Action will begin tomorrow, March 17 and is set for a 5 p.m. start time in Lake Nona, Fla.

NC State leads the series against the Knights 2-1 with the latest matchup being a home 4-0 victory in 2021.

Seventh-ranked NC State women's tennis (12-2, 4-1 ACC) topples UCF (7-7) with another near sweep to finish 6-1 over the Knights.
NC State picked up the first win of the day as Sophie Abrams and Abigail Rencheli dominated court three to finish 6-1 and put the team ahead. Shortly after on court two Nell Miller and Amelia Rajecki fell 0-6 on court two to tie the doubles score and leave it up to Alana Smith and Diana Shnaider.
Shnaider and Smith led from the get go and faced little adversity when snagging their win to claim the doubles point for the Wolfpack.
The Wolfpack carried their steam from doubles play over into singles as they ended up claiming victories on five out of the six courts.
The first singles point came on court one for Shnaider when her opponent, No. 30 Marie Mattel had to retire. No. 9 Smith handled business as usual on court two as she took care of her opponent in only two sets.
Each member of the team grabbed the first set on every court but courts three through six were extended through three sets.
Rajecki was the next to secure her conquest when she finished 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 over UCF's Stefani Webb.
In true Rencheli fashion, she gritted through a third set tiebreaker to extend the lead for her team and finish 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (7-3).
Although known for her dominating doubles play, Miller participated in singles again and added another win to her colum with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 score.
The only singles loss of the day took place on court five when Abrams fell in three tough games to give up a point to the Knight's Nandini Sharma.

Eighth-ranked NC State women's tennis (12-2, 4-1 ACC) continues their road stretch to No. 27 Notre Dame (11-6, 1-4 ACC) and Louisville (8-8, 0-6 ACC) over the weekend. The first match in South Bend, Ind. is scheduled for Friday, March 24 at 3:30 p.m followed by a Sunday noon meetup in Louisville, Ky.

NC State leads the series against Notre Dame 7-3 with play beginning in 2013. The Wolfpack carry a winning streak over the Fighting Irish for the past seven years straight. NC State also leads the series against Louisville 8-2 with play beginning in 2005. The Wolfpack carry a winning streak over the Cardinals for the past seven years, tallying eight wins over them in that time period.
