.@PackMensTennis swept its Thursday doubleheader, beating Radford 6-1 in the first matchup and blanking NC A&T 7-0 in the second.

The No. 16 NC State men's tennis team (9-2) garnered a pair of wins on Thursday, defeating Radford (2-4) by a score of 6-1 and NC A&T (0-3) in a 7-0 decision.

DOUBLES VS. RADFORD
The Pack opened up the day with two doubles wins, putting the team up 1-0 going into the singles matches.

Braden Shick and Fons Van Sambeek give the Pack their first doubles win of the day with a 6-4 victory over Aditya Balsekar and Robert Hagen.

Yannai Barkai and Luca Staeheli then took the second win, giving the Pack a one-point team advantage with their 7-6(1) tiebreaker win over Demis Taramonlis and Andres Silva.

SINGLES VS. RADFORD
Martins Rocens started the Pack strong at the start of singles play with a quick 6-3, 6-2 win over Guilherme Severin and was followed in victory by Van Sambeek, who put up a 6-3, 6-1 win over Konstantinos Raptis.

It was Staeheli who clinched the team victory for the Pack, defeating Taramonlis 6-3, 6-3.

Play continued on the remaining singles courts, and Damien Salvestre put the Pack up 5-0 with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Silva while Joseph Wayand defeated Hagen 7-5, 6-1.

Radford was able to get on the board in the final singles match as Balsekar gutted out a 3-6, 7-5, 1-0(8) win over Shick.

DOUBLES VS. NC A&T
The Pack opened up its second match of the day with two doubles wins, the first coming for No. 51 Rocens and Van Sambeek with a 6-2 victory over Esteban Lopez and Vasil Ivanov.

Salvestre and Joseph Schrader tabbed the point-winning victory, defeating Ian Pedersen and Ethan Baly 6-2.

SINGLES VS. NC A&T
Wayand cruised to the first win in singles for the Wolfpack, dropping just a single game on his way to a 6-0, 6-1 win over Nolan Martino.

Shick earned the second singles win of the match to bring NC State one match away from clinching. The sophomore defeated Pedersen 6-4, 7-5, and moments later Barkai secured the NC State victory with a 6-4, 6-1 defeat of Eder Blanco.

Salvestre was able to put another point on the board for the Wolfpack with a win 6-3, 7-5 over Ivanov and was joined in victory by Van Sambeek, who got the win over Jorge Perez 7-5, 6-4.

Rafa Izquierdo Luque completed the Pack sweep of the Aggies with a tough 6-4, 7-6(6) victory against Lopez.

UP NEXT
NC State continues its home stretch with a 12 p.m. matchup against Boston College Sunday, Feb. 26 at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.

The No. 16 NC State men's tennis team (10-2, 1-0 ACC) opened its ACC slate on Sunday, defeating Boston College (3-4, 0-1 ACC) in a 7-0 decision. With the victory, the Pack extends its win streak to seven matches.

DOUBLES RECAP
No. 51 Martins Rocens and Fons Van Sambeek made quick work of their doubles match, getting a ranked win as they defeated No. 39 Juan Jose Bianchi and Max Motlagh 6-1.

Yannai Barkai and Collin Shick clinched the doubles point for the Pack with a 6-3 win over Oliver Worth and Will Kasten on court three.

SINGLES RECAP
NC State won five of the singles matches in straight-set fashion, the first victory of the day coming for Rocens as he defeated Kasten 6-2, 6-2.

On court five, Van Sambeek dropped just one game on his way to 6-0, 6-1 victory over Bianchi.

Luca Staeheli clinched the win for the squad, defeating Worth on court two in a 6-1, 6-4 decision.

Play continued on the three remaining singles courts. No. 101 Robin Catry gutted out a 6-3, 1-6, 1-0(8) win over Motlagh to put the Wolfpack up 5-0 on the Eagles.

Damien Salvestre and Braden Shick closed out the sweep with wins on courts four and five. Salvestre defeated Matt Campbell 7-5, 7-5 while Braden Shick got the quick 6-1, 6-2 win over Jake Vassel.

DOUBLES RECAP
NC State took the doubles point, winning on courts one and three. No. 51 Martins Rocens and Fons Van Sambeek defeated Sebastian Arcila and Loris Pourroy 6-2, posting the win shortly before Florida State got a doubles win of its own with Josh Karpenschif and Maks Silagy defeating Collin Shick and Yannai Barkai 6-3.

Thirty-fourth-ranked Robin Catry and Luca Staeheli clinched the doubles point for the squad, getting the win over Andreja Petrovic and Youcef Rihane in a tight 7-6(5) decision.

SINGLES RECAP
The Seminoles got on the board first in singles with Petrovic's 6-4, 6-3 win over No. 101 Catry. Not long after, NC State got a singles win of its own with Damien Salvestre's 6-4, 6-4 defeat of Rihane.

Florida State equalized the team score with Pourroy's 7-5, 6-1 win over No. 84 Rafa Izquierdo Luque.

Staeheli put NC State back in the lead, coming back to win his second two sets in a 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 decision against Arcila.

The match came down to court six, where Van Sambeek and Karpenschif were locked into a three-set battle. Karpenschif came away with the win, defeating Van Sambeek 7-6(2), 2-6, 6-3 to seal the Seminoles victory.
