The No. 23 NC State men's tennis team (13-7, 2-5 ACC) fell to Louisville (15-6, 7-2 ACC) on Friday in 4-1 decision.

DOUBLES RECAP
All three Wolfpack doubles pairings won their first sets, but Louisville was able to clinch the doubles point in the end.

Braden Shick and Collin Shick cruised to a doubles victory, defeating Matthew Fung and Alex Wesbrooks in a 6-1 decision.

Louisville evened things up doubles competition with a 6-4 win by Etienne Donnet and Tin Chen over No. 19 Robin Catry and Luca Staeheli, and the Cardinals clinched doubles point with Natan Rodrigues and Sergio Hernandez's 7-6(1) win over 39th-ranked Martins Rocens and Fons Van Sambeek.

SINGLES RECAP
The Cardinals extended their lead to 2-0 with a 6-2, 6-1 win by Rodrigues over Braden Shick.

Van Sambeek secured NC State's only singles win of the day, cruising to the straight-set victory over David Mizrahi, 6-3, 6-3.

No. 117 Donnet put Louisville one match away from the team win with his 6-1, 6-4 defeat of No. 82 Rafa Izquierdo Luque, and it was Hernandez who sealed the Cardinals victory as he defeated Rocens 6-3, 7-6(5).

The No. 23 NC State men's tennis team posted a 4-3 victory over Notre Dame on Sunday, winning four singles matches on its way to the win.

DOUBLES RECAP
Braden Shick and Joseph Schrader made up the lone Wolfpack doubles pair with a win, taking down Matthew Che and Aditya Vashistha, 6-3.

On court one, Matthew Halpin and Jean-Marc Malkowski defeated No. 19 Robin Catry and Luca Staeheli, 6-4. The Fighting Irish duo was joined in victory by Connor Fu and Peter Conklin.

Fu and Conklin defeated Collin Shick and Fons Van Sambeek in a 6-2 decision.

SINGLES RECAP
Singles play proved to be a battle with four of the six courts going to third sets. Braden Shick and Catry were the two who won their matches in straight sets.

Braden Shick was the first with a win, cruising to a 6-2, 6-3 defeat of Braeden Ho. He was followed in victory by Catry's 7-6(?), 6-4 takedown of Conklin.

Martins Rocens got NC State within one point of clinching the match with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 win over Fu, but Notre Dame battled back with a pair of their own singles wins.

Malkowski got the first Fighting Irish singles win of the match as he defeated Van Sambeek 6-2, 3-6, 7-5.

Vashistha evened the team score at 3-3 with his 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 win over Rafa Izquierdo Luque.

In the end, the match came down to a tightly-contested third-set battle between Staeheli and Che. Staeheli came away with the 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 win to seal the team victory for NC State.

"Huge battle today as we know it would be," said head coach Kyle Spencer. "Both teams were playing shorthanded, and the match was played at a very high level throughout. We as a team have the utmost respect for Coach Sachire and his team as they fought us to the very end. Clemson is ranked 67th in the ITA Rankings and holds a record of 10-10 (1-7 ACC). Most recently, Clemson fell to Duke in 4-0 decision.

DOUBLES RECAP
Early in the contest, the duo of Braden Shick and Joseph Schrader defeated Keshav Chopra and Chen Dong in a quick 6-0 win.

On court one, Georgia Tech would get a victory of its own with No. 8 Andres Martin and Marcus McDaniel earning the 7-5 win over No. 41 Martins Rocens and Fons Van Sambeek.

Clinching the doubles point for the Wolfpack, Collin Shick and Luca Staeheli triumphed over Pablo Schelcher and Brandon McKinney in a 7-5 decision.

SINGLES RECAP
After securing the doubles point, the Wolfpack was able to take three singles wins to clinch the team victory.

No. 79 Martin posted the only singles win of the day for Georgia Tech in a 6-4, 6-2 win over Rocens.

NC State answered with a 6-4, 6-1 win by Damien Salvestre against Dong, putting the Wolfpack up by one team point. Braden Shick would follow suit, securing another singles point for NC State over McKinney in a gutsy 6-1, 7-6(6) victory.

No. 67 Robin Catry fought back from a dropped first set to defeat Chopra 3-6, 6-4, 6-3, clinching the win for NC State.

The No. 21 NC State men's tennis team (16-7, 5-5 ACC) recorded its second win of the weekend and third-straight ACC win on Sunday, defeating Clemson 5-2.

DOUBLES RECAP
NC State won the first game on all three courts in doubles competition, but ultimately Clemson claimed the point with a pair of close wins.

No. 39 Robin Catry and Luca Staeheli got the Pack's sole doubles win of the match, taking down Maxwell Smith and Teodor Giusca in a 6-3 decision.

Clemson tied things up with a 6-4 win by Jorge Plans Gonzalez and Daniel Labrador over Braden Shick and Joseph Schrader on court three.

The point came down to court one, where No. 41 Fons Van Sambeek and Martins Rocens were locked in a tiebreaker with Ryuhei Azuma and Spencer Whitaker. The Tigers ultimately got the 7-6(3) win to seal the doubles point.

SINGLES RECAP
The Pack got out to a hot start in singles, winning five of the six first sets.

Shick cruised through his first set against Trey Stinchcomb without dropping a game, ultimately getting the 6-0, 6-4 win for NC State's first singles point of the match.

Rocens was the next member of the Pack to victory, getting the 6-1, 7-6(1) win over Giusca to put the squad ahead in the team score.

On court three, Damien Salvestre got the straight-set victory over Plans Gonzalez in 6-3, 6-4 fashion.

It was Staeheli who sealed the NC State win, gutting out a first-set tiebreaker win before getting the second-set victory. He defeated Azuma 7-6(2), 6-3 to clinch the team win.

Play continued on the remaining courts. Van Sambeek won his third set but fell in his second. The freshman was able to come back in third to get the win, defeating Smith 6-3, 4-6, 6-0.

Clemson got its lone singles win of the day on court four as Whitaker defeated No. 67 Catry 6-4, 6-7(5), 1-0(8).
