That eclipse was pretty cool.

Not sure how that happens on a flat earth, when nobody knows where the moon is, where the sun is, how big they are, and how high up they are.

Are people aware of the fact that there has been no genuine experiment to prove that the earth is moving? According to the heliocentric and orthodox cosmological fairytale, the earth is supposedly travelling at a speed of 66,000 mph or 18.3 miles per second flying around the sun, and rotating/spinning at a speed of 1,000 mph at the equator. However, we don't feel any centrifugal forces from these supposed "movements" of the earth....which are not actually occurring. And those supposed movements have never been measured or otherwise observed.

In fact, all scientific experiments (including the Mickelson-Morley experiments) have proved the opposite...and proven that the earth is NOT moving and is still and motionless. And this is all admitted by top "faux" scientists...including Einstein (see video below), where they were perplexed why the experiments were showing that the earth was not moving. And this was the reason that Einstein came up with the theory of relativity -- to "save" the orthodox, globe/heliocentric theory of the universe.

And this is why the plagiarist and fraud Einstein is so pumped up and promoted as some "super duper uber genius"...because the Marxist Establishment (Hollywood, far Left Lamestream media, faux "scientific" academia) are using him to save their "sacred" heliocentric, globe theory and false cosmological system.

The orthodox false model of the universe ("globe" earth, heliocentrism, Big Bang, evolution) are all THEORETICAL...supported by a bunch of nonsense theories -- eg, theory of relativity, Big Bang theory, theory of evolution. It is not supported by real scientific observation and measurement.

Geosynchronous orbit, where we launch a satellite and it stays over its designated spot. Does that mean they're also traveling at 1000 mph? What sort of propulsion do they have and how much fuel do they use to maintain that speed to appear to stay in place? Asking for a friend.

What do you mean there's no experiment to show the earth's rotation? Build yourself a Foucault pendulum. Or go see one - natural history museums often have them. My grandpa built one in the basement of my cousin's house when I was young. It's not too hard if you're careful about it.

Also, the earth's rotation does have an effect on downward force, it's just very small compared to gravity, even at the equator. You said somewhere you were an engineer from State so you should be able to figure out the math.

Fun fact: A dumbbell weighs 0.4% less at the equator than the north pole (though its mass is unchanged). Becaaaaaause spinning ball.

LOL...finish that Einstein quote. They conveniently leave out the part where he finishes by saying "Though the Earth is revolving around the sun". The flerfs love to cherry-pick their scientific quotes.

....and "oh, we can't feel that centrifugal force of the Earth spinnning!!!"....try sitting on a merry-go-round, and have it spin at one rotation per 24 hours....then see how much it flings you off...and see how dizzy you get.

Now...how large is the sun, how large is the moon, and how far are each from the flat earth? I know you can't answer, because once you try, the flat-earth "model" becomes laughable.

The Foucault pendulum does not prove that the earth is spinning and moving around the sun. The supposed "coriolis effect" is absolute nonsense -- eg, saying that a sniper or military canon has to take into account the "earth's spin" when aiming and firing a weapon. If the "coriolis effect" were true, then why can't a helicopter hover over one spot for a few minutes and the earth would "spin" beneath it and the helicopter would end up miles away from where it started? They say this happens with a bullet fired from a gun. Absolutely absurd.

The only "support" at this time for the earth supposedly moving is Einstein's theory of relativity. Admitted again here by this guy:

No, it *is* proof, at least for someone who rejects the thousands of photographs of the round earth as actual things. And the best part is that you can predict how a pendulum should behave based on latitude. So you can have a flat earth DIY road trip to build pendulums in Canada and Central America and see how it stacks up! Post your results on YouTube.

For some reason, you keep thinking that anything not nailed to the surface of a spinning earth should go flying off in some direction. But if you're driving down the highway and you toss your flat earth beer cozy straight up in the air, it doesn't smack into the rear windshield, right? It moves with you, the car, and the air in the car (as long as you're not accelerating).

You'll have to connect the dots for me between flat/round earth and general relativity. I'm not smelling what you're stepping in with that one.

There is not one genuine photo of the "globe earth". Did you know that NASA even says (at the article below from the official NASA website) that the "only photograph of an entire hemisphere of the globe earth was taken in 1972 during Apollo 17"? And that one was fake too, because of course the "moon landings" are laughably fake/hoaxed.

The "globe earth" images are all photoshopped/CGI. NASA even admits this on their own website (article below), with an article featuring the CGI guy, Robert Simmon, admitting that the "blue marble" image of a "globe earth" is a composite image, where they take photographs and "stitch them together" and then he says they "wrapped the flat map around a ball".

Read this section of the NASA.gov article very closely. Read it and weep.

What is the coolest thing you've ever done as part of your job at Goddard?

The last time anyone took a photograph from above low Earth orbit that showed an entire hemisphere (one side of a globe) was in 1972 during Apollo 17. NASA's Earth Observing System (EOS) satellites were designed to give a check-up of Earth's health. By 2002, we finally had enough data to make a snap shot of the entire Earth. So we did. The hard part was creating a flat map of the Earth's surface with four months' of satellite data. Reto Stockli, now at the Swiss Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology, did much of this work. Then we wrapped the flat map around a ball. My part was integrating the surface, clouds, and oceans to match people's expectations of how Earth looks from space. That ball became the famous Blue Marble.

Also, it's obvious to see that the images are CGI/photoshopped from just looking at them with just a little bit of a critical eye. For example, they show the continents with VASTLY different sizes. In one, North America looks like it takes up one half of the sphere and on others North America looks like it takes up ~ 1/10th of the sphere. Also, they screwed up on some of them, copying and pasting cloud formations.

I actually provided evidence. Are you contesting that what NASA said on the article from their website that I posted is accurate? Are you questioning that all of those "globe" "photographs" are actually CGI? NASA admits they are.

Wow, that's quite an argument you have there. No explanation, no evidence presented, no logic or rationale. Just a ridiculous statement that "you are mentally ill because you don't agree with my view".

I've actually provided a detailed explanation of my view with logical arguments and tons of evidence in this thread, proving that that the earth is not a globe/sphere as the "orthodox" faux "scientific" Establishment tells us....as well as proving that the heliocentric theory of a moving and spinning earth is false.

But the problem is that the Establishment brainwashing is so strong that many people refuse to even consider the argument and evidence, and instead knee-jerk reject the argument without considering it and then go on emotional outbursts attacking those presenting the argument as "crazy", exactly as the Establishment has brainwashed them to do.

Once again, your ability to comprehend scale makes it difficult for you to understand the challenge of taking highly detailed photos of the Earth. Yes, this is a stitched image created from satellie photos that are EXTREMELY close to the Earth, therefore making it a challenge to show as a sphere. Hell, look at the image and imagine how far away from the Earth you'd have to be to take that picture!

Lucky for us, we have NASA's DSCOVR, which takes images daily of the Earth from around 1M Miles away.

Lucky for us, we have NASA's DSCOVR, which takes images daily of the Earth from around 1M Miles away.

DSCOVR
DSCOVR are not real "photos" either. They are also more CGI. Those images from DSCOVR of the moon supposedly passing in front of earth are laughably fake. Look at, for example, how in a supposed 5 hour time lapse in that series of images, the cloud formations do not even change.

By pointing out the problems with these "globe photos", I'm making several points. Number one, many people out there mistakenly think (as someone posted previously) that there all these "many" photos of the "entire globe" taken from space. I'm showing that all of these images of an "entire globe" are not real photographs, but rather CGI images. Secondly, I'm pointing out the various inconsistencies and absurdities of their CGI images. And for the one you referenced in particular, it's a preposterous image as it shows the continental United States taking up roughly half of the entire "sphere".

Here's the nasa.gov source for the "image" of the "globe earth" where it looks like the continental United States takes up half of the "sphere"....LMFAO. The caption for the "image" at the link admits that it is a "composite image" produced by taking images and "digitally projecting" them "onto a globe"...ie, CGI.

Behold one of the more detailed images of the Earth yet created. This Blue Marble Earth montage shown above -- created from photographs taken by the Visible/Infrared Imager Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) instrument on board the new Suomi NPP satellite -- shows many stunning details of our home planet. The Suomi NPP satellite was launched last October and renamed last week after Verner Suomi, commonly deemed the father of satellite meteorology. The composite was created from the data collected during four orbits of the robotic satellite taken earlier this month and digitally projected onto the globe. Many features of North America and the Western Hemisphere are particularly visible on a high resolution version of the image.

You are free to read all about the way DSCOVR produces its images. The process doesn't make them fake or CGI.

I mean, the utter absurdity that you posted the flat earth "map" early in this thread, which has a laughably distorted Australia (I won't even bother to address the Ice Wall)...and you want to pick apart photos of Earth from space. JFC.

Yeah, we've been discussing that CGI image for much of this page of the thread. Notice that in a supposed "5 hour time lapse" in the supposed "photos taken", that the cloud formations do not even change.

Bad fake.
