I think the question was related to the mysterious reference to a potential transfer to ND.

JT's dad is Link Jarrett who is the head coach at uncg but is most likely taking the Notre Dame job. The discussion was whether JT would follow his dad.

Hell, this whole time I was thinking Torres was transferring to Notre Dame. I'm like, damn we haven't even confirmed he's on campus. Been confused as a cow staring at a new gate.

A lineup of any combination of Bailey, Thresh/Murr, Debo, Vazquez(?)/Jarrett/Brown, Torres, Neese, Mensik, McDonough/Soles, Butler, Tatum/Chlup/McArthur is really exciting.

Going 8 against 9 on offense (with JT in the lineup) isn't smart IMO. He's a perfect option to come off the bench late in games but not start.

Agree 100%. Great defensive replacement late in the game. Not someone who should be getting 4 AB's a game when you have options.

Moving McDonough to 2B only works if the outfield replacement is a clearly better hitter than Jarrett, while also being good on D. Tyler played excellent D in CF. This past season Tatum, McAthur, and Thomas were not any better than Jarrett at the plate.

I'm not advocating for Jarrett and am not against TM playing 2B, but placing a low .200 hitter into the outfield just to remove Jarrett from the lineup does nothing for us. If TM goes to the infield, we need the new OF to step up at the plate and on D.

Crazy thought here but maybe Noah Soles is a really good outfielder....He's a natural outfielder whereas Tyler is not. He's a natural infielder and played well there in a small sample size late in games.

Devonte Brown was a much better hitter than JT Jarrett. Devonte Brown was also a very good defensive outfielder in RF last year.
