So what I think Civ is trying to communicate is that he is unsure of the political motives of this guy. Frankly none of us are. And yes, the messages on the bullets mean the same thing in Far Right as Far Left circles. So, until it's clarified, we don't know for sure. I hope we will soon, and I'm 95% sure it'll be for far left reasons because at the moment that makes the most sense.

The Guardian a left leaning media outlet has already interviewed two separate friends of the kid who said he was left leaning . A different classmate are on video said he was a leftist who spent his time in chat rooms and Reddit type forums .

His own parents told the police when they turned him in that he has recently developed leftist views and mentioned at the dinner table "Kirk was coming to town and he hated him ".

So what I think Civ is trying to communicate is that he is unsure of the political motives of this guy. Frankly none of us are. And yes, the messages on the bullets mean the same thing in Far Right as Far Left circles. So, until it's clarified, we don't know for sure. What results?

List all the political violence over the last 5, 10, 20 years and beside each act note whether they were left, right, or just an indeterminate crazy loon with no apparent coherent ideology.

I've spent more than a minute researching that and the evidence is clear but you're welcome to do your own research.

There are crazy loons on both sides. And, there is a clear higher level of fatal violence on the alt right, especially amongst white nationalists.

But the biggest trend to emerge from that research is that more often than anything else, these shooters profile as young, white, male, disaffected, and have no coherent political ideology. They have poor mental health, are highly online, and have a disdain for establishment ideologies of all stripes.

With this Tyler Robinson kid, more than anything else he seems like he probably spent way too much time on 4Chan and Reddit and around assault rifles, and not enough time hanging with friends watching football and making out with his girlfriend and thinking about what productive aims he was inspired to do with his life.

I've not researched if this is true as far as the costumes go, but in context of this, it would be important to know when this happened. Before he went off to college or once he got there? Kids change, a lot, in college. They are very easily indoctrinated. College professors are FAR more likely to be Dems (GOP is single digit % of professors) so there's a lot more echo chamber liberalism happening on college campuses today then ever. Now, they're not afraid to do it openly either. Rarely happens that someone goes to college these days and becomes radical right.

Cv will eventually realize he can't win this argument as the most current political violence has been perpetrated by folks with an extreme left wing agenda. The quicker folks like him and to some respect me acknowledge that, the easier it is to address all the other whataboutism occurrences of violence.

My guess is when individuals not in the news, famous or anything but people living their lives with views that differ are attacked or killed is when it'll quickly escalate. That could certainly happen any day now with the vigils being held for Kirk across the country being targets of Antifa and other trash looking for a fight.
