NC State Opens NCAA Tourney Play In The Greenville Regional

NC State will open play in the Greenville Regional on Friday against Campbell

The Wolfpack is the No. 2 seed in the regional, and No. 1 seed East Carolina is the host team.  The winner of the Greenville Regional will face the winner of the Louisville Regional.

Definitely Bailey. Avent most likely made the wrong call taking Parker out but bailey can swing almost anytime he wants, especially with runners on.

You never EVER play a game not to win, like FSU. You can't just turn on / turn off competitive play. We had beaten our arch rival and eventual ACC champs on the road, then came back to beat Wake. Mailed it in against FSU and haven't won a game since.

They will have to go to the pen next inning at some point. I bet they try to hold their better relievers for later. Maybe we will get lucky and a few scrubs can't find the strike zone

We looked pumped up for the first time! Still have 9 more outs and college bullpens are shaky! I love aggression but maybe we should try to drive his pitch count up. Doubt they let him throw many more pitches

They are showing fight. Klyman was on fire coming off the mound. Debo too after his leadoff double. Then the worst part of our order came up and got out. Hate seeing a looking strike three but they are fighting.
We have one more real opportunity if we can hold them here. College bullpens suck. Maybe they have a bad inning.

At some point you just have to hit the baseball. No matter how good the opposing team's pitching is. Haven't seen us truly look good at the plate in weeks, maybe months. Just don't deserve it.

Disappointing to say the least after such a good start to season.
