I assume your job requires it, but I am curious as to why they would do this? It is highly unlikely you will transmit the virus after vaccination, based on the data that has emerged so far. I know Dr. Gandhi and some other doctors I follow say we should not be testing people who are fully vaccinated and are asymptomatic. I do know my son is no longer being tested, since he received his vaccination. This was one of the many motivating factors for him to get the vaccine. He was tested over 60 times last football season from July through the bowl game and was being tested regularly during Spring conditioning and practices, until he got vaccinated.Cthepack said:

Right. We are to the point in the pandemic that a positive antigen/quick test (especially if asymptomatic) should be followed up with a LOW Ct PCR test, to actually verify.
Not that asymptomatic testing should actually be widespread at this point.

Yes for work. I travel to a country that Americans are required to quarantine for 21 days now it was 14. I am allowed to skip quarantine. I go on a controlled itinerary, hotel and work only, cannot stay over 14 days, and get tested all the time.
The country has a zero case objective.

Thanks for taking the time to update us. I have a good friend who is an international cargo pilot and he has to do the same thing when he flies to China and a couple of other countries. It is still possible to have COVID after the vaccine, so to see cases is not surprising. It is very low risk, like 0.0005% low risk. When you multiple that percentage times the millions that have been vaccinated, you do get a decent number of cases that could occur. It could have been a false positive, especially if asymptomatic. That also happens. I would have to have the actual medical information in front of me to make the decision and the Yankees are sure not going to give that to me. The CDC guidance is what matters right now to you and to me.
I don't see anyone here arguing that Pelosi hasn't flip flopped or not followed the data at some point or another including now. No one on this board is saying, oh yeah Pelosi should still force masks in the chamber, even with those that are vaccinated. You are arguing against something that hasn't been said that I have seen. Hopefully the Carolina Hurricanes can adjust quickly and sell more tickets for their Monday night playoff game. As far as the graduation functions I am attending all weekend at my son's university, I expect masking will still be required at all the events. They still require masks to be worn outdoors on campus. The same will go for businesses and Cooper just confirmed it. If a business or city want to still require masks, they can do so. He does not expect cities to continue requiring it (I have some doubts about Durham lifting restrictions), but expect some businesses to still require masks. The way I see it - their business, their rules.

We have seen more flip flops in the last three months than you see at the beach. Sooner or later the chickens are going to come home to roost and this entire thing is going to be exposed.
It is still possible to have COVID after the vaccine, so to see cases is not surprising. It is very low risk, like 0.0005% low risk. When you multiple that percentage times the millions that have been vaccinated, you do get a decent number of cases that could occur. It could have been a false positive, especially if asymptomatic. That also happens. I would have to have the actual medical information in front of me to make the decision and the Yankees are sure not going to give that to me. The CDC guidance is what matters right now to you and to me.
I don't see anyone here arguing that Pelosi hasn't flip flopped or not followed the data at some point or another including now. No one on this board is saying, oh yeah Pelosi should still force masks in the chamber, even with those that are vaccinated. You are arguing against something that hasn't been said that I have seen. Honestly, she probably is just exercising her power or just trying to piss off the Repubs in the chamber or both.
There has been zero consistent messaging out of the current administration. Texas and Florida have opened up and have been for weeks and there wasn't the doom and gloom like the "experts" and the MSM warned. As a matter of fact Michigan has had some of if not the strictest lock down laws/rules in the country and had a hell of a lot worse result because of it.
The fact that people test positive after having it and being vaccinated goes back to what I have said for months. We NEVER should have shut down the country, mandated masks and crippled our economy over this virus.
We could have taken precautions, protected the elderly and most vulnerable. It became a political grenade aimed at the GOP and President Trump that the lefties took advantage of with their media propaganda arm. That can't be argued after all of a sudden we have the crisis at the border, war in the Middle East, horrible job numbers, highest inflation in 12 years and the economy flirting with tanking.
So now it's safe to open? Come on.... you are smart enough to know the jig is up. The virus is real no doubt. But so is all the BS that accompanied it. The left took advantage of the crisis like Pelosi has said many times..."never let a good crisis go to waste."
Their desire for power took the precedent over the lives, jobs and careers of Americans. That my friend can't be disputed.
How generous of Supreme Emperor Comrade Cooper to give us back some of our God-given freedoms. But is still requiring the face diaper on school children and in other situations. Maybe one day we can finally be free. Maybe after just 2 more weeks to flatten the economy.....err I mean curve.
