Parker didn't pitch on Friday night when we played them in W-S. Feeney took that loss, not making it out of the 3rd. Parker pitched the 3rd game, and went into the 5th, striking out 7 against only one walk, but was tagged for 5 earned runs. Reid started the one game we won, but didn't get the W because Wake rallied on him in the 6th and tied the game after we had gone up 3-0 (Avent left him in one batter too long).

They got to both Parker and Reid eventually in their starts, so there isn't a clear choice (other than not Feeney, who got jacked)

If we win tomorrow, I am going to try and go to the game on Friday night to watch the only stress free NCSU athletic event of the year and enjoy the DBAP. Is it pretty east to scalp tickets or do y'all recommend buying them in advance? I'd only be looking to get two together.

Just curious, if we win on Thursday, why wouldn't the game on Fri matter? I am not familiar with the tie breakers if we are all 1-1 in pool play

We're the highest seed in our pod/group. Highest seed is the tie breaker.

They were in great shape to host a Super Regional and blew it. Pretty sure they're not pleased with the performance they put on.

Watch out for GaTech

They have hurt their chances for sure, but could still host a super. The experts seem to have varying opinions on the impact that the conference tourney has on hosting position. Also depends on how the other teams do. And just like the Giglio tweet that Wolfer posted said, it seems like they place more value on setting up their pitching for next week than they do winning the conference tourney. I'm sure they weren't trying to lose, and if did cost them the super, I'm sure there will be plenty of second guessing.

We'll see what happens with the SEC tourney too. There are like 4 SEC teams ahead of LOU that are in the discussion as well. ECU losing yesterday helped Louisville in the top 8 discussion too. If Ga Tech makes some noise this weekend they'll get a top 8 seed for sure, I'd wager.

I believe Wake will be the home team tomorrow (they were the visitors yesterday) so we should be in the 1st base dugout tomorrow night. We'll be the home team Friday.
