How about the run Larson has been on! Still think Denny makes a run but Larson has flipped the script big time so far

Four races into The Chase, and the defending champ is gaining momentum. 👀

He historically runs as good at both Vegas and Charlotte as anybody left in the field, IMO.

A Toyota will probably still win the championship, IMO… at least they should - the best equipment by far the entire year. Denny or Bell most likely… just saying that Larson couldn't ask to be in a better position than where he is right now…

I wasn't able to watch the race this weekend but listened to it on the way home. We spent the weekend at Rockingham Dragway, watching the NHRA Nationals. This is the first NHRA national event held there in it's long history. I remember going there back in the 80's and it has the same feel. Brought back some good memories. They sold out this weekend.....awesome showing by the fans.
A lot of great runs. They set some track records (makes sense as Nitro hasn't run there since 1998) and the racers really enjoyed the track. They commented on it all weekend long.
The top MPH for the weekend was set during the final of Top Fuel.....342 MPH.
.@RFKRacing says that Brad @Keselowski will depart the organization after 2026 but that it "remains committed to competing as a three-car NASCAR Cup Series organization in 2027 and will continue its active pursuit of a third charter," per official announcement. pic.twitter.com/19jzaXJWLM

-Kroger demanded a charter in their contract. Must be on a chartered car. Would not run on an open car.
-Running 3rd car is expensive and acquiring one isn’t easy
-Not in the works for a while but didn’t come out of nowhere (couple weeks)

Penalties from the incident after the Martinsville late model race:
1. Team owner and crew chief Chad Bryant has been fined $2,000 and suspended indefinitely from NASCAR. He is also suspended from participating in the 2027 Martinsville 300 and placed on probation by NASCAR for one year. Bryant is also required to complete anger management training through a program mandated by the Sanctioning Body.
2. CBR crew member Steven Civitarese has been fined $1000 and suspended indefinitely from NASCAR with a one-year probation.
3. Ryden Lapcevich, Treyten's younger brother and mechanic, of CBR has been fined $500 and placed on probation through the end of next year.
4. Typically, an indefinite suspension gets lifted when a member under penalty completes the terms of the process for reinstatement. In the case of the Chad Bryant Racing crew, that will likely mean Bryant's anger management program and the paying of fines.
The probation is then a mechanism in which to ensure good behavior in the short term after reinstatement. If there is another violation of the rule book, the member on probation could face even stiffer penalties.
Although it's not Earth shattering, I'm glad they did something. That was uncalled for....they waited until Heim left his car and was walking alone to his hauler when they jumped him. Let the drivers figure it out but no need for crew members jumping a guy while he's alone.

He is also giving up his ownership and could drive for another team.
