Penske controls that car. Honestly I don't know how much the Woods are involved. To add, Josh's problem is that he isn't funded and for a period wrecked a lot of cars. Not a good combination.

Didn't realize until I read today that the Woods brothers really haven't been a big part of the driver changes. I would've taken Josh Berry over Austin Hill, though.

Yeah really surprised that RCR didnt take Josh Berry. Berry has been a Chevy guy his whole career up until the Woods Bros ride. Thought he would have slid into the RCR ride quite easily.

The family is involved but I don't think it's really deep. I believe Penske brings most of the sponsorships outside of Motor Craft. The pit crew, crew chief and so on are Penske. Some folks have argued that the 21 at times is a developmental team for Penske, which may answer some questions about the revolving door of drivers.
