Caused a mess there. Lot of fluid on the track.

Did you go? Love Martinsville. Haven't been in a few years though

Pretty chilly night. The open wheel mod race was good last night. Ran due to rain on Friday night. Looks like Wake County had a strong crowd for the CARS TOUR last night.

What is the "traditional favorite" on how they serves their 'dogs there? Want to make sure that I follow proper protocol tonight...

I haven't had one in a minute. We usually bring sandwiches inside. Now I wish I bought one. Lol

Race weekend was nice. I do like this new package for CUP's short tracks. After walking around and talking to folks, I wouldn't be surprised to see Kyle leave RCR. RCR had three cars yesterday and none were competitive. Instead of running 3 cars maybe focus on the main 2?

I did get by Indianapolis on my circuitous route back to the East Coast from my trip out West... damn, that track and that museum are both absolutely huge. I got to see my second Al Unser "Johnny Lightning 500" car from 1971 (#1) to match the 1970 car (#2) that I got to see in Albuquerque three years ago. While the museum itself is very Indy Car centric, there was way more NASCAR stuff there than I was expecting to see.

That's really cool to read. Did you get to see inside the track?

It was confusing when I first got there and couldn't figure out where to go, but the museum building is actually located in the infield. I couldn't stay as long as I probably needed to, to see it all properly - but I didn't realize how big it was and how extensive the car collection would be. Had to bail after an hour and get back on the road...

.@NASCARSanDiego says it sold out two premium hospitality options in a Hangar Club in an aircraft hangar (two-day tickets ranged from $892-$1,097) and an Admirals Club on the S/F line ($2,550-$4,207).
It will also run its 1948 Club again with a one-day ticket costing $10,810.

.@FS1 got 2.394 million viewers for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series @CookOut 400 @MartinsvilleSwy, roughly flat to the downside from 2.422 million last year.

Off week for CUP but trucks and O'Reilly series are coming to the Rock this Friday and Saturday. Hopefully the crowd is strong.
