With the win at the Southeast Region, the team advances to the NCAA championships on November 19th in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The top two teams and top four individuals advance to the NCAA championships.
The Wolfpack finished with six runners in the top 15 and seven in the top 20.
NC State finished with a team score of 25 points, ahead of ACC foes UNC (76) and UVA (109).
Once again it was Tuohy, the sophomore from Stony Point, NY, finishing ahead of the Pack, crossing the finish line at 19:49.1.
Chmiel wasn't too far away, finishing the race in 19:58.6, with Bush coming in third at 20:08.0.
Sydney Seymour (7th place, 20:12.5), Nevada Mareno (12th, 20:25.6) and Brooke Rauber (14th, 20:37.4) rounded out the top 15 finishers for NC State. Gionna Quarzo finished 20th with a time of 20:39.9.
All seven of the NC State athletes were named to the USTFCCCA All-Region team.
