No. 15 NC State men's tennis team (8-4, 6-1 ACC) overcame No. 44 Miami (3-7, 2-4 ACC) on Saturday in a competitive match, securing its sixth conference win of the season. With the win, the Wolfpack maintains a four-match win streak.

As the match continued,
Martins Rocens secured the first singles point for the Wolfpack with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Oren Vasser.
Building on that momentum, Turzak followed suit as he defeated Aubone 6-4, 6-2 in a win that put NC State one point away from the team win. Soon after,
Rafa Izquierdo Luque claimed the win over Stefan Milicevic 6-1, 7-6(7) to seal NC State's fourth-straight win.
STRAIGHT FROM THE PACK: HEAD COACH KYLE SPENCER"Another solid effort from the team today!" said head coach
Kyle Spencer. "Miami is a talented team. We knew we needed to be tough today and do the little things well, which we did. With no real competition in the fall, we have worked to consistently improve each practice and match so that we can play our best tennis in the second half of the season. Very proud of the guys! Pack Risin'!"
STRAIGHT FROM THE PACK: ASSISTANT COACH CRIS JAMES"After an ACC weekend against two talented teams, we are happy to come out 2-0," said assistant coach
Cris James. "We know we can play a little better in some spots, but overall we did a good job and had some bright spots. I was happy to see three doubles start fast and play well today after a slow start yesterday. We did a great job in the singles of building some good leads on enough courts, and when Miami made their push we had enough to get through."
