The 14th-ranked NC State men's tennis team (1-1) competes in its first road match of the season Sunday, Jan. 31, taking on No. 12 Georgia (2-0) at 1 p.m.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
No. 10 Georgia has played two matches in 2021, competing against Mercer and Florida State. The Bulldogs swept both matches, winning each in a 7-0 decision. The competition with NC State will be Georgia's first ranked matchup of the season.
Three members of the Bulldogs are ranked in the Oracle/ITA singles rankings. Trent Bryde checks in at the highest spot, No. 9, followed by Philip Henning at No. 18 and Tyler Zink at No. 73. The duo of Bryde and Zink is ranked eighth in the doubles rankings while Henning is ranked at No. 20 with Blake Croyder.
