We're all Pack fans so while we don't agree on a lot of things in the world, we all love the Pack so there's common ground even among the most left or right people here. In general, I agree with you…. That said, the way people talk to others in the sports forums doesn't sound like "we're all Pack fans" to me.

There's a few of them who seemingly use the forums to serve their psychological need to feel superior to others.

If the rules clearly state no politics on the sports boards, then the mods are perfectly capable of giving anyone who decides to go on a political rant a "break" if they need it. The only other sports sites I've regularly visited didn't even have political boards... it was understood talking politics was verboten.

I don't really care though, because I have him on ignore. Only have to read his posts when he gets quoted.


Right now the most annoying tit for tat feud on the sports boards absolutely has to be the 2001 / ICW poster and AnaeAnae. 2001 is a complete idiot no doubt, but AnaeAnae is drawn like a moth to a flame to everything he posts... he's been asked countless times to put the other guy on ignore, but he just can't bring himself to do so for some reason, which actually makes him more annoying than the idiot himself... and then 17 has to jump into the conversation and quotes both of them. The three of them all ruined another thread just the other night in fact.

I really never thought 2001 was all that bad, if even if I never understood what he was saying half the time.

I actually agree, to me Anae is way more annoying. I have him on ignore but everyone always quotes him so I still see it all.
