This board reflects on NC State. As you posted I do not spend much time on this board.

James gave a clear clear warning and for a day or so it was much more civil, but then after two days the name calling happened again. It will continue to escalate as it always does. So I say shut it down if grown adults can not stop with name calling within just a day or two of Jame's warning.

Agree. At a university known for a coach thats main saying is "Dont give up, dont ever give up" I stand by my comment that forfeiting is for losers. The reply I got was that is what we are. I replied they may be a loser.

Smapty is the problem. His lack of self awareness is amazing. I attempted to contribute about business I own and what I see happening in real life and he insulted me numerous times.

Saying that, I have only 2 people on this site on ignore and they both post often in the WC.

And honeslty Cary, the insults that fly around overhear are just way over the top. The sports board are no where near as bad. If the best you can come up with is me turning a comment by another poster saying they MAY be something then you and I know it is not as close.

He's not a problem. I used Ignore feature and bing! Not a problem. Name callers enjoy calling each other names so let them have their fun. And at least hold the Sports boards to the same standard….I've seen "you're a moron"-type comments over there frequently, and no consequences.

Are you completely ignoring Trump's obvious penchant for flouting the Constitution and other laws; his history of trying to overturn a free and fair election he lost which required our Vice President's obligation to the Constitution and not the President being perhaps the only thing that kept us from a massive constitutional crisis; and also the extrajudicial killings of alleged drug runners that our military members are being asked to carry out?

He literally has a history of giving illegal orders.

Forget Trump.

Military members are being put in positions of feeling compelled to seek outside counsel to consult regarding whether their actions in the extrajudicial killings of alleged drug runners leave them open to prospective criminal liability if those actions are later determined to be illegal.

This advice to disobey illegal orders is in support of them as much as anything.

Essentially, this isn't anything more than saying "Remember Mike Pence's courage to abide by the Constitution even when the President asks you to behave otherwise. Do that if the time comes."

I can't believe anyone questions why this would need to be said given Trump and Pence's respective actions on January 6, much less says they 'hate' someone for saying it.

Much less tries to both-sides the issue when one side says "you're in the right if you disobey illegal orders" which is simply a statement of (important) fact and our unhinged President literally responds "SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!"..."It's called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL"

Mike Johnson tearfully begging the Senate to amend the bill "for the victims" perfectly illustrated how desperate and out of touch he was. The bill had already been crafted with specific input from the actual survivors, and the actual survivors were actively demonstrating to have the bill adopted, all while Johnson was still riding the "protect the innocent billionaire friends of Epstein under the guise of protecting victims" train. The Epstein survivors and Americans were done with that bull*****

The "feast on liberal tears" crowd is going to be mighty disappointed in 26 and 28 if they don't start doing more than shotgunning empty calories and actually doing the hard work of positively impacting the economy, health care, affordability, communities, and other key topics voters and influencers are already showing you they care about way more than tear-drinking.
