Some interesting angles to this one. Fake news and google, LOL. Gold bars to a brand spanking new 'climate hoax' group headed started by the upstart grifter herself.

Since polls are cool again, now do Trump's polling on inflation and the economy compared to four weeks ago.
Since the speech was just last night I thought it was interesting to see the reaction from the folks, I'm so sorry it triggered you.

Anyone with half a brain knows it's impossible to curtail inflation in 5 freaking weeks and if anyone said that then they need their heads examined. If it continues to get worse then I'll be the first to voice my displeasure with him.

Inflation had already been curtailed, it was below 3% when Biden left office and had been for some time.

The problem for Trump is the dishonest conversation he had with his constituents for months during the campaign. He set expectations that he can't possibly meet and is in a lose-lose situation with inflation/prices.

He's got 100 million people in the US expecting prices to come down, which ain't happening; quite the opposite, given his pet trade war. On the off chance prices do come down, it's because he's absolutely tanked the economy which is an even bigger electoral problem for the right than prices simply not coming down.

He's painted himself and Republicans into a corner where most of America will either be unhappy because prices aren't coming down and inflation is actually back up again, or they'll be REALLY unhappy because prices are down but we've fallen into a very serious recession spurred by his tariffs.

CBS News/YouGov survey interviewed a nationally representative sample of speech watchers immediately following Trump's joint address to Congress, and the numbers will please the poll-mindful president.

The poll shows an astounding 76 percent of Americans viewing the speech approved of Trump's remarks, with only 23 percent less than a quarter disapproving.

Sixty-eight percent of viewers described Trump's speech as "hopeful," with a majority also describing it as "presidential," "inspiring," "unifying," and "entertaining."

A clear majority of Americans watching the speech also said the president spent a lot of time on issues they cared about, the survey found.

Over two-thirds of viewers said Trump has a clear plan to deal with inflation, which began under President Joe Biden. And over three-quarters liked Trump's plan for waste in government spending as well as immigration and the border.

Real research has 100% been stopped and new grants are not being awarded. My better half works at Duke in medical/academic research. If it weren't for the lawsuit NC's AG signed onto that ordered a restraining order to continue releasing funding, she would be out of a job. For now, it just looks like she has a job until the current funding runs out in a couple of years. Then who knows. But new work is not being planned. Mice lines for research are not being procured. Real research has 100% stopped and it's far worse in states that did not sign onto the lawsuit that resulted in the aforementioned restraining order as PIs and lab staff have already been cut at places like Alabama. When all of these cuts and layoffs finally get tallied up, the hit to the economy is going to be significant, not to mention the stunting of further findings in the medical field.

For reference, her work focuses on kidneys, diabetes and how these are connected to the heart. Her team has been published a number of times and their clinical has had many positive results but the future of that work is all totally up in the air because a roided out 70 year old who is afraid of seed oils thinks we've spent too much money on this stuff. He's going after cancer research even harder. Be careful what you wish for.
you hit the biggest nail on the head with mice lines. That's an unintended consequence that will be difficult to procure if things go back to somewhat normal.

BLS January 2025 Inflation Report
PUBLISHED ON FEBRUARY 13, 2025 BY TIM MCMAHON LEAVE A COMMENT
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released its January 2025 Inflation report on Wednesday February 12th 2025, showing Annual Inflation was up from 2.9% in December to 3.0% in January.
This looks like a 0.1% increase. (But since we calculate it to two digits, it was 2.89% in December and 3.00% in January, which means the actual increase was 0.11%.)
On a non-seasonally adjusted basis, monthly inflation was 0.04% in December and a whopping 0.65% in January 2025 this was up from 0.54% in January 2024.

One of the biggest take-aways from Trump's speech was that he isn't trying to even pretend to "work with" the communist Democrats. Over and over in the speech, he just called out the Democrats for being completely opposed to him on EVERYTHING and unwilling to work with Republicans on ANYTHING. They cannot be reasoned with. They are dug in ideologically and will not budge or be reasonable on anything.

Trump has recognized the obvious fact, that many of us recognized long ago, that there is too big of a difference in worldview between right-wing/Christians/conservatives and the hardcore Leftists, which the elected Democrats in Congress are a part of. Conservatives and Marxists-Leftists don't have any shared values. We are ENEMIES. We cannot "coexist" or compromise on things. One side will win and the other will lose.

Commie Leftists support an anti-American, tyrannical, anti-Christian, Satanic communist agenda -- eg, murdering the unborn, LGBTQ perversion insanity, 70 genders, cut boys genitals off and girls breasts off, boys in girls' sports, censoring free speech to promote the Leftist narrative, weaponizing the courts to persecute conservatives on bogus/sham charges, banning all firearm ownership so that people are totally enslaved and defenseless against an all-powerful Marxist State, etc etc etc.

Hardcore Leftists are enemies of America. Maybe many of them can eventually snap out of their brainwashing, and leave the cult. But as long as they are a part of that communist, anti-American, anti-Christian cult...they are outright enemies that cannot be reasoned with, and cannot be worked with to make true progress in making our nation better. Not until they snap out of the brainwashing.

As an example, look at how Leftists have turned on RFK Jr and won't even support him on his "make America healthy again" agenda. Leftists used to champion getting toxins out of the food and environment. Now, because they have been brainwashed by the cult-leader pundits and top Democrats, they hate everything that RFK Jr stands for and won't support ANYTHING that he is advocating, no matter how reasonable.

I listen to most every single Juan O'Savin interview I can find that is done by various podcasters. Juan says for the immediate future Trump will "act like a dictator" to expedite the dismantling of the Deep State. My guess is it will be for the 1st two years. An EO is coming that will require paper ballot election of all federally elected positions which would 1st occur in Nov 2026. With the removal of fraud, I believe we'll have a Congressional balance that will allow for Constitutional Amendments to be passed, etc.

EDIT 2: I believe the 2020 election fraud evidence (+ 2022 & 2024) will be brought forward just prior to this EO....as the driver.

EDIT 1: By the way, Juan says that there is one person who is clearly closer to Trump than he is, and that is Dan Scavino.

Full speech. What I find very interesting is reading the comments. They are overwhelmingly in favor of Trump and negative towards the Democrats...definitely correlating to the polls showing that at least 75% of Americans were favorable towards Trump's speech. This is posted on the official YouTube channel of a local news channel in New York and currently has almost 1.7 million views and almost 15,000 comments...mention that just to point out that this video has a WIDE audience that accurately represents the public.

Explain stagflation

High inflation, slow economic growth, and high unemployment, all at the same time.

Tariffs, slashing government spending, and firing the entire government…. apparently Trump is trying to ignite the trifecta. And once stagflation sets in it's hard to get out of…. the fed really can't help.

Sucks for all of us that you morons only learn economics the hard way.

The craziest thing is that Climate United was only established on 09/20/2023 and received a 7 billion in April 2024. This is shady as it gets. Transaction registration below.
