After a few turbulent days, many are throwing in the towel on gold, claiming its bull market is over.

But I strongly disagree. This secular bull market is only 1.6 years in, and they last a decade or more. This one will too.

The term for this is "buying opportunity".

By the way, India's Central Bank is now adding Silver as part of its strategic reserve.
Silver as a strategic serve? Wow, what does that suggest, if anything?
Around the globe, US Dolla, Gold and the Euro are what are held as reserves right now, correct? Gold at $5790 passes the US Dolla as the #1 reserve around the globe. What does this mean? Central banks are certainly buying gold.

As ol' Biden would say, "it's a big effing deal". It's not just about the monetary aspect, the U.S. has now deemed Atomic number 47 as a strategic mineral, way overdue in my opinion.
Edit: a common stacker strategy is to exchange silver into gold from time to time. I've thought about that in order to increase my meager gold stack but keep hesitating…maybe for the best.

Atomic number 47 probably has a better upside with the ratio running between 40:1 and 90:1 this past century.

True, but because I have more significant amounts of it than Au or Pt, I consider it my best asset against currency collapse.

About $5,790 per Troy Oz of Au was the value I saw represented whereby AU replaces the fiat dollar as the primary global reserve. I haven't a clue how this # was arrived at.

Sheesh, I'd be sitting on a nice little sum at $400 silver. That said, I can't discount that the metals and miners are going lower this week as the dollar appears ready to significantly rally. The only question is whether it rallies against the metals or merely against other currencies.

A lot of folks who are waking up to the fact that they need to protect their savings, are also realizing they're priced out of gold, hence silver. On top of that, demand is driving up premiums, for example and depending on the "make", 10 ounce silver bars are asking around $5-7 premium over spot. That doesn't bother me much, these purchases are for the long haul and as an insurance policy. Glad I picked mine up back when spot was in the $28-30 dollar range, though.
