I don't think you understand who that messaging is for. It's not the everyday voter. The administration is signaling to the press that this is not a recession which they hope the press goes along with.BBW12OG said:

I just don't think it's going to work because 1) the everyday person feels the inflation pain at the pump and the grocery store, and possibly soon at their job. And 2) because even if the press goes along with it, the discussion is still about a recession, so in reality it's still a negative message.
