In Raleigh, a typical January has a warmest temperature for the month of 71 degrees, but in 2021, the warmest temperature we reached was only 60 degrees.

A typical January has 8 60+ degree days, but in 2021, we only had 1. By comparison, we had 10 60+ degree days in January 2020

This is a great site to go to, a lot of meteorologists participate and gives good breakdown of daily model runs. The gnashing of teeth by some of these guys when the snow doesn't pan out is hilarious.
