Since children are no longer able reach these previously attainable milestones, they have been lowered.https://t.co/6JToO76cJr

My understanding is Canada does not have freedom of speech in their constitution, so Trudeau has powers he would not have in the US to "silence" speech and protests. For example, Canada has speech laws that allow them to regulate and punish speech they do not like. There have been progressives and socialists in the US who have been arguing for the US to get rid of freedom of speech.Wayland said:Werewolf said:

I was born in Canada and moved to NC as a kid (and have lived the vast majority of my life here). As such, I have been following what is going on in Canada closely... watching a ton of footage of the protests and hours of debate from the Canadian Parliament.
Trudeau is evil. There is no other way around it. It is frightening to see this illiberal authoritarianism taking over... it needs to stop.
I am disappointed in what Canada has become that so many support this madness.

Lost an Aunt last night at 74. She has been ill, in and out of hospital, not following medical advice, etc. but contracted Covid and lasted less than a week. I'm conflicted on how that SHOULD be listed on cause of death. She was unvaccinated and I do wonder if it would have made a difference.

I've been digging into claims that @CDCgov recently lowered its bar for children's speech development.

CDC did change milestones. Today, it's out of line with @ASHAWeb & NY State.
Importantly, these other orgs haven't changed any guidance during the pandemic.
Let's unpack.

I practice evidence based medicine to provide the best care for my patients based on accurate & up to date information. So why would the #cdc withhold any data that can help me better serve my patients? Truth & Transparency is essential-not cherry picking data.

Yep. I can't remember how many times I posted that the dosages should be spaced out, especially for young males. Of course, I am not a doctor, so my opinion carries zero weight. There we too many signs that spacing out was more appropriate for young males, to avoid risk of myocarditis. I also believe doses for the overall population should have also been spaced out to 12 weeks, just like in Canada and the UK. There were several studies that showed spacing out doses would actually help to increase the immune system's response and produce a stronger response. Again, I am not a doctor and not a healthcare professional, so my opinion means nothing.Wayland said:

If some jackass like myself was well aware of it, maybe the CDC should have been more on the ball.
I shouldn't be more in tune with the 'science' just based on cursory internet research of studies coming out of other counties than the CDC is.
For them to change the guidance now, means that the risk is REAL.
The CDC is a trash organization and should be gutted and rebuilt from the ground up.In updates published today, @CDCgov now says re: time between first and second COVID-19 vaccine shots that
