I have said it before about MMWR, it is the propaganda arm of the CDC. The results are probably predetermined, or the dataset is so small or collected in such a way to show the desired results. Selection bias, etc. Pure manipulation.
The limitations even listed in the study are massive.
There is a reason this shows the exact opposite of a much more robust study done in Israel.
The CDC needs just enough marginal data to show the desired effect to make the infographic.
The CDC got what they wanted out of this, a cute infographic, and some headlines. This study was one of the top headlines on WRAL this morning (even though it is junk).
And all the people who skim headlines continue to have the lies reinforced and believe actual science is being done. Or for that matter analysis that is not massively flawed.
