In private conversations, most of our scientific colleagues agree with us on these points. While a few have spoken up, why are not more doing so? Well, some tried but failed. Others kept silent when they saw colleagues slandered and smeared in the media or censored by Big Tech. Some are government employees who are barred from contradicting official policy. Many are afraid of losing positions or research grants, aware that Dr. Fauci sits on top of the largest pile of infectious disease research money in the world. Most scientists are not experts on infectious disease outbreaks. Were we, say, oncologists, physicists or botanists, we would probably also have trusted Dr. Fauci.
The evidence is in. Governors, journalists, scientists, university presidents, hospital administrators and business leaders can continue to follow Dr. Anthony Fauci or open their eyes. After 700,000-plus COVID deaths and the devastating effects of lockdowns, it is time to return to basic principles of public health.

Given upwards of 90% seroprevalence in India, that Delta spike must have been absolutely epic. I don't think the test identified cases do it justice.statefan91 said:
Time to let this move to endemic territory. It's going to stick around, get vaccinated and we'll use the additional medicinal options out there for those that have bad cases.White House: 80% of U.S. adults now have at least their first shot and 70% of U.S. adults are now fully vaccinated.

There are large portions of the US who are not prepared for the disease to become endemic. They really do believe Covid can be beaten if everyone just follows orders, gets vaccinated, and wear masks/social distance when asked. For people accept the virus becoming endemic, you have to accept cases and spikes in cases at certain times of the year. You also have to accept people will die of Covid. People are not prepared to accept this after over a year and a half of masking, distancing, and shutdowns of schools and businesses.statefan91 said:

I think that vaccination number might be a little low. CDC estimates over 90% of eligible (>12) in MoCo are vaccinated. CDC has over 100k more totally vaccinated in MoCo. I know I had heard discussions of one of the dashboards lowballing there in the past. There is some disconnect in their numbers somewhere.Daviewolf83 said:There are large portions of the US who are not prepared for the disease to become endemic. As an example, see Montgomery County, Maryland. They are planning to reinstate indoor mask mandates this week (11/3), just days after lifting mandates, due to an increase in cases. Unfortunately, Montgomery County, like many municipalities and states, are using the CDC's antiquated guidelines on transmission that were developed prior to vaccines. They have fully vaccinated 69% of their residents and currently have a testing positivity rate of 1.5% and 51 cases per 100,000 residents for the past seven days. Based on the CDC guidelines, this qualifies as "substantial transmission."
It is time for the CDC to revise their guidelines, recognizing people who are vaccinated will become infected, but most will have minor symptoms and not become a burden to the healthcare system.

He's created a cult. He should have been removed from his position already. But he has a welcome flock of disciples that want to sit at his MSM provided altar and drink from his chalice of falsehoods.

Scary times!!Quote:
What's really crazy is that this authoritarianism goes beyond COVID hysteria. Australia's parliament has passed a new bill eradicating Australians' right to digital privacy.
It's called "Surveillance Legislation Amendment (Identify and Disrupt) Bill 2021."
It gives the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) sweeping new powers to not just surveil Australian citizens online, but also take over and run their online accounts, lock the actual user out of the account, and add or delete data.
The police never have to notify a person that their account has been hacked by the government.
What they are calling "warrants" actually do not always require an actual court or judge to sign off.
An "emergency authorization," allows police to bypass the courts entirely. And why should anyone be concerned about that? It's not like the Australian government has ever abused its emergency powers before…
The right to travel, the right to protest, the right to privacy, the right to due process, the right to leave your home and earn a living these are basic human rights that are now gone in Australia.
It should be obvious by now to every citizen of any Western nation that never-ending "emergency powers" can easily snowball into a full-blown dictatorship.
There is no reason it couldn't happen to other formerly free nations as well.
From DHHS data, there have been over 7 times as many post-vaccinated Covid infections in NC than reinfections to those with previous infections:
— Jon Sanders (@jonpsanders) November 2, 2021
• 87,353 post-vax infections
• 11,922 reinfections #ncpol
Would love that because my kids have had COVID already and I'd prefer not to quarantine unnecessarilyDaviewolf83 said:
Per the latest info from DHHS, immunity from previous infection appears to provide better protection from Covid infection than the vaccine. There are many studies showing immunity from previous infection is real and it is lasting. One out of Israel indicated immunity from previous infection was stronger than immunity from vaccination. I am waiting for a study to come out of Johns Hopkins in late November/early December that looks closely at post infection immunity. It could provide even more evidence that post infection immunity is as good as vaccination conveyed immunity.
While I fully support vaccination to get immunity (less risky than going the infection route), people and leaders need to stop discounting the protection of previous infection. Vaccine mandates should end and people who have had Covid previously should be considered to be as protected as someone who is vaccinated. The EU recognizes previous infection equally with vaccination, but the US has ignored immunity from previous infection. From DHHS data, there have been over 7 times as many post-vaccinated Covid infections in NC than reinfections to those with previous infections:

Further proof that the real agenda here is to move towards a "mark of the Beast" type system -- where you cannot buy or sell without submitting.Werewolf said:

Update. I tested positive Friday. Caught from kids. Friday was the last day I felt decent. I've felt like **** ever since. This is frustrating. Can't see my family or help. Been incredibly stopped up and then the cough came on yesterday. Had the Pfizer vaccine and got last shot in April. Didn't matter. Still got hammered.
Kids have been fine. This does not affect children like it does adults. My wife has so far been fine. She had moderna. It could be luck.
Bottom line… this thing sucks. I don't think for a minute that this wasn't engineered for this purpose. It may have been a leak but it was made.

Update 14 hours in the ER later (note to everyone. Avoid the ER on Mondays). The diagnosis is colitis which is honestly painful good news. No idea is the booster shot play some sort of role or not. Can't confirm it nor rule it out
