Putting this here, Cary might scold me if I put it on the Trump thread. :-)

Not saying this is "great" music or anything. But it's amazing in a way. I've listened/watched this like 30 times over the last 2 days. It's by an American comedian/artist that I randomly got in my YouTube recommendations last night. I liked some of his comedy shorts, especially because he is so incredibly good at doing a British accent.
He does a bunch of parody music that is pretty good, and is very talented. This particular parody song was just released about 4 weeks ago and is imitating the British "garage rap" genre of the late 90's and early 2000s. People in the comments from the UK are blown away at how authentic his British accent is and how amazingly accurate the song imitates the style of this genre. But also, they unironically say that the song is extremely good and a banger.
It's hilarious, catchy, and the girls' hook in the song is incredibly good.

I grew up when this came out and have listened to it on the radio hundreds of times. And I always thought it was a really good song. But I hadn't listened to it in a long time, and heard it on the radio yesterday as I was on a long drive (after playing a ball game where my team won)โฆ.and cranked it up loud with the windows down. Great song for when you're in a good mood, as it makes you feel euphoric. And it really hit me how great this song is. One of the very best of 90s rock.

Foghat are an English band, but they had an American bass player named Nick Jameson, who the founding drummer, Roger Earl, credits (see video here) with "arranging the whole song" of "Slow Ride", while they were living near Woodstock, New York soon after Jameson joined the band.
