Wake's facilities are garbage? That's crazy. They play in a former minor league stadium that they just renovated very nicely. You are misinformed.

You sure about Wake's facilities? My wife works with a former Wake player and he told me a former player dumped 14 million into the program in the last couple years. They did or are doing a huge upgrade. Indoor cages, offices, etc.

Another program upgrading facilities before us...

Please don't bring facts into the equation. We're busy trying to fire a guy that has had his team ranked in the top 5 of the nation all year. Cause we've got top 5 teams falling off of trees around here.

Surprised to see Pitarra pressing. With his experience and plate approach, he's the exact guy you want up there, but he swung at ball four, and then had to swing on a close pitch the next one.

Avent uses some small ball to put the players in a position where a simple ball in play scores a run, and one of your seniors swings at a ball in the dirt on a 3-1 count, and then strikes out.

You're looking at a team that fell victim to all the long ball hype. Outside of Wilson and Bailey, there isn't a player in the lineup with a plate approach that is attempting to use the middle or back half of the field. Dead pull plate approaches, and smart pitchers are going to eat you alive when that's your approach.
