It's amazing how something can get repeated a few times and become the collectively accepted truth. Mind numbing.

#MCWS Eyewitness Weather Report: still hot but not as hot as it has been. Why? Because the wind is SCREAMING and straight out centerfield. So…in theory…homers. But we shall see. pic.twitter.com/oCKcDsRcAj

There's a great ump cam view of a Johnny Butler homer from two years ago . That angle kinda makes me queasy though.

At least google before you make these insane posts. Jesus man. Haha
He's gonna be a first round draft pick most likely.
Struck out over 150 dudes this year. Won 10 games.
He's far from "atrocious". Haha

🚨🚨 MCWS RECORD ALERT 🚨🚨@GatorsBB's 24 runs today marked the most ever in an MCWS game, breaking the previous record of 23 – set by Notre Dame vs. Northern Colorado in 1957 and Arizona State vs. Oklahoma State in 1984!#MCWS x #D1inOmaha pic.twitter.com/abSvnL2PIn

Wind blowing out. At least that was my assumption when I saw them post the launch angle and speed off the bat number. First it has blown out in a week.Alex Gee said:
A 51 degree launch angle home run is literally unheard of. Highest I can find is 4 at 48 and a 50 by JD Martinez.

Those are definitely insane numbers. I left after the 4th inning (game was over in my mind at that point) to run some errands and then had a nice meal at Amedeo's.Alex Gee said:Daviewolf83 said:Wind blowing out. It was followed up with a 58 degree home run by Caglianone later. Wind definitely a factor.
