Also…Thatcher Hurd, the pitcher currently holding Wake Forest at bay, transferred to LSU from UCLA and caught some flak for selling out for NIL cash…so he donated all his money to Baton Rouge food banks. I rode with him back in February.

Wake fans are awful, they HATE us. One of the biggest benefits to potentially getting out of the ACC is never having to play them again.

Also had no idea Jacob Godman was on oral Roberts either (didn't read through this entire thread, so apologies if mentioned). Nice player, backed up cozart last year

Looks like Wake will have their top starter (Lowder) and three best bullpen arms (Minacci, Massey, and Roland) all rested and ready to go.

On the flip side, LSU has their #1 starter (Skenes) rested as well, but after him their bullpen is pretty taxed.

It's likely going to come down to whether or not Wake can put any runs on the board off of Skenes, as LSU is likely going to try and ride him for 7+ innings... and maybe the whole game, as they let him throw 123 pitches last Saturday.

How tf is Wake the visiting team yesterday and again today???

Now are the Finals still 2 out of 3 or is it a one game winner take all? NCAA website is only showing a one game final.

They said they strive to balance out the number of times a team is home and away and Wake had only been the away team once and LSU had been away team twice.

By the way, it was just announced Wake will be without their first baseman and one of their top batters, Nick Kurtz. Apparently, the rib injury he sustained in the Alabama game is still bothering him. He apparently aggrevated it during batting practice today.

I know they try and balance it some so the #1 isnt home in every game between Regionals, Supers, and MCWS - but I don't recall someone ever being away in both of these games in this format - that is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard if that was the legit explanation.

Wake should be home in 1 of them regardless.
