so that would give 6 days between starts with Rodon starting Wednesday August 4 vs Royals
I looked briefly at lineup information prior to game and even though small sample size, 25-40 career at bats vs Rodon, Royals had 3-5 players hitting over .300 vs Rodon for career.
I also wonder if Grandal, normal catcher being in injured reserve is also a factor. Grandal last played July 5.
