Congrats to Carlos on a well pitched game. He is the best college pitcher I have seen in my lifetime. I was there his last game at Doak and Avent pulled him after I think the 7th inning and the crowd wanted him to come out and take a bow. Kept shouting his name and finally he appeared and got the proper respect he deserved

He has had his ups and downs and then had to have the TJ Surgery, but he has persevered and will always be in the MLB record books for his no hitter. Well done young man!!! Keep it going.

He actually pumped up and hit 99 mph on the last batter. 100 plus pitches in the 9th trying to strike out the last batter. He is still Carlos. His lower body is so strong and very mechanically correct. It allows him to stay very strong late in games. The slider last night was his old Wolfpack type slider. He was in one word, awesome.

One big toe from perfect. What a great comeback!

Without watching the games, it seems like he's using a lot of pitches to strike people out. With his injury history I'd think he'll need to start getting more ground balls and fly outs to keep his pitch count down, but that's always a slippery slope.

Love seeing his comeback this year. Not only is he proving himself as a capable big league starter, he's a Cy Young candidate. He's at least a lock for comeback player of the year if this continues. He's making a s*** ton of money right now for himself.
