Had a great time this weekend. Yesterday's race was great, now, Blaney, come on my man, if you are going to bring it, bring it. I don't think he expected Carson to fight back. And, for NASCAR security, don't grab a guy by the arms, you've done that now at least twice.

Yeah we were very impressed our first time at the Bristol night race. Very cool track. Not sure how the racing showed on TV but at the track it was really cool watching the guys navigate traffic and of course all the drama at the end with hocevar and Blaney right in front of us

Took a quick look at The Chase standings, and I don't even know where to start... after that football game yesterday, I just don't have the energy to tackle it yet. Maybe later this week.

Travelling to Colorado for the next nine days with the wife to see our newest granddaughter in person for the very first time.

LOL I didnt have the energy to even watch the whole race nor get out of the bed this morning, it took the gf putting on the IMSA MX5 race really loud volume to wake me up lol....I'm waiting for tweeter to clear out the bad posts before I get back on there. It truly feels like the day after a major disaster and that the whole world should be praying for us, but are laughing at us instead.

Agree, the guy in the pole is NASCAR security, and he has more than once said, that each driver gets one shot. Blaney chose wrong.

Yep, I think if Blaney had approached him as if he wanted to talk, Hocevar wouldn't have reacted. However, Blaney came at him fast and put his hand on him first. Hocevar wasn't having it and clocked him twice.....got some pretty good shots in.

I believe it was Dale Jarrett who said it best after the race.....you know what kind of driver Hocevar is. He is a good driver and he is aggressive. Don't put yourself in that position, coming down to try and block him if you aren't ready for the result.

NM.....it took me a few to get your point....also, if what I'm hearing is true, don't expect anything from the fight. Believe it or not they are having talks...(NASCAR)

The race went up against Ole Miss-LSU.

Bristol's social media generated 2.6 million engagements, up 567% from last year.

DW was my first favorite driver......nothing and I mean NOTHING beats that Western Auto paint scheme. His last win was my favorite...Davey going for the Winston Million and DW stole the Southern 500 from him by running the slowest laps on the track waiting for the rain to get there as everyone including DW were trying to see how far he could go on gas....timed it perfect as the caution and redflag came out, then he did the rain dance after it redflagged....oh and his "bacco" chewin car owner alter ego impression he did in the interview with Ernie Irvan and laughing his a** off.

I want to say get well DW, but these things dont get better, so I hope he enjoys the time he has left. I could tell in current interviews he's been sounding a bit shaky.

Tomorrow, after the Craftsman Truck race, tune into Floracing for some awesome late model action. The big race of the year for them is Martinsville and that takes place tomorrow evening. Qualifying is tonight at 8 pm and they start heat races tomorrow at 4 pm. Those are fun to watch, as only 40 racers make it into the actual race later tomorrow night.

If you are ever able to attend in person, it is worth it. It is some of the best racing you will see.

I did it twice before Covid. It was well worth it. I had a lot of fun! Kids have gotten older and they keep me busy but I need to get back.

If you follow late model racing. It's The Who's who of the craft. It's just a neat thing to see them all together battling at the same place. Nowadays every track is fighting to survive. The area has changed a lot of 30 years and there just aren't as many of these guys like there used to be.

Martinsville gets them all out though. They all love it. Some are there to win it. Some are there just hoping to be in it. It really is a cool thing. Like Daytona for those guys

You're right, they all show up and show out for this weekend. There are 85+ entries and only 40 will make it. Its a wild time.

The start is something to see....it's amazing. The Cup guys are fun, but these cars are just different.
