that Detroit course is nuts with that loooooong back straight. Imsa does it today and IndyNXT and Indycar tmrw...the end of that long straight is something to watch over the wknd

good lawd....This Detroit circuit is bad, as in awful. Much faster IMSA class cant get around these much slower class cars...except on the long backstretch...reminds me of Azerbaijan .

Another night race, not the biggest fan of those. One here and there but 3 in 3 days, no thanks. Just going by practice, Fords once again look to have trouble.

Now I see what you meant when you posted this... there was absolutely nothing to watch on TV yesterday afternoon - then saw zero laps of the night race. Was this one of the "Prime" races?

Yep, another Prime race last night. Started late due to rain as well, making it even worse. It didn't end until 12:30 eastern this morning. Just a terrible idea to start it so late to begin with.

Looking at the remaining schedule, the next 3 races are all being aired on Amazon Prime. At least they are starting mid-afternoon though.

There are actually still a few races left this season in which the start date is around the 7pm time....ugh

Sunday night is rough, if you are going to run it make the race 300. I watched some but I had to go to bed. Glad Michigan this week is at 2.

More folks need to hit up a race. The tracks and NASCAR do a great job of putting on the event. It's not perfect every time ( what is ) but it's a great experience.

I went to the Rock this year. Fractured my elbow there...I still cant straighten my left arm without it hurting. Also got bad road rash on my left hand, which is healed up now. I was running towards the start finish line to take pics of the winner doing donuts and I tripped over my own feet and wiped out. You could actually hear the crowd go "oooooooh", then a small cheer as I popped right up. I think I've got the worst injury of anyone in a NASCAR race this year ;-).
