Some interesting takes from Dale. I've always wondered about the fan vote myself. My take is have the All Star race at Bowman Gray and give SMI a date from the NASCAR dates. Maybe have the championship race at CMS or Vegas?

I just can't even wrap my head around this......I was a Busch fan and always enjoyed watching him, especially in the Super Late Models and truck series. Truly a loss for the sport.

Agree. It's going to hit hard this weekend when the 8 rolls out without him in it. I'm sure NASCAR and SMI will do the right thing.

that truck race is on now. I'm just bawling my eyes out. I'm so sorry KB and fam/fans. I'm just so so so so so so sorry. This is the worst year of nascar since 00-01

Heartbreaking for sure. What's sad is that here in last couple of weeks that team had started to make ground on and off the track. Kyle was at Wake County speedway just about every time Brexton raced there, will be different for sure.

I've read a few comments on the web from some to claim to be in the know...but they are essentially saying KB vaped heavily at home and at the shop...do you know if that is true? I know he's been sponsored by vape companies in the past.

Went back and looked and Harvick ran Earnhardt's car the very next week after the Daytona crash... but with the different number and color scheme. Will be interesting to see what Childress decides to do this time.

Reports are that he was racing in a simulator Wednesday and they found him unresponsive. Rushed to the Hospital and later died.
