I'm taking a side route on my way back to North Carolina next week, to go see that track in person at least once in my life.

It's a good one for sure. We always hit the fall race there, great time and atmosphere in the fan zone. Lot of the former greats walking around there.

Lot of talk about the race Sunday and how it could really get interesting. Some folks are worried about having enough tires for the race.

Was hoping Brad K would get him another win today. He had a great car but Riddick was on a rail.

Agree. I was pulling for Brad but right now the 45 is on fire. I was surprised by how bad the 22 was. I don't think they had any issues just missed the setup.

Yep Logano had a rough day. Even the Hendrick cars for the most part didnt do as well as I would have thought. The highest finishing Chevrolet was Hocevar....and then Suarez.

Good point about Chevy. In hindsight this is a race that someone was going to hit on the setup and then you got the folks who completely missed it.

Alex Bowman out at least another month due to vertigo. Really hate it for him.

I hate this turn of events for Alex. Especially in a year where he is needing to provide some improvements and finishes on the track. Timing couldn't be worse.

For those that keep up with the inside scoop more than me, do you think this is kinda the beginning of the end of Bowman at Hendrick in the 48?

To answer your last question, it's hard to say. Ally really likes him and that means a lot in today's NASCAR. I personally could see him back if he is healthy. In situations like this, the question to ask is who would go in the 48 that is better?

Yeah good point about Ally. That makes sense. I have asked this question to a few die hard nascar fans I know and seems like they believe the door might be cracked for Carson H to move to the 48 seat?

I have not heard anything about that CH going in the 48, I know Spire likes him and from what I've heard Spire wants a name in their stable. Don't be surprised if Kyle Busch ends up at Spire. Daniel Suarez is on a one year deal there and Busch is up this year at RCR contract wise

This silly season may get wild. Every big team has a least one driver up for contract renewal.
