I still haven't figured out how Byron managed to be on the lead lap at the end, let alone somehow being in the lead group at one point. If my counting was correct, he was involved in four different wrecks yesterday... at one point they had the right front completely off in the pits and were underneath the wheel well working on something, so I would have figured he'd at least lost two laps at that point.

I think he finished 12th, and I was happy to get that even after everything that happened.

Didn't mind seeing Reddick get the win, he really seems like a great dude.

I know it's a long season but for a couple of drivers, have a bad week at ATL and you are really in a tough spot.

It has started pouring rain here in Daytona about two hours and 15 minutes after the race ended.

Big play of the day: NASCAR moving #Daytona500 start time up to 2:15. If that race had started as originally scheduled we'd likely be slogging through a miserable "Could we restart?" rain delay. Big drops were already starting in Victory Lane and 20 mins later it was hammering.

Ford hasn't put a lot of money into the series in some time. When SHR closed and Penske dropped their car, that was pretty much it. Trust me just cause there are a lot of Chevys, doesn't mean that they are all getting support. Toyota is really the only OEM that is just about all in with their cars. As a Ford guy I hate it.
