Fox Sports and NASCAR Studios announced Tuesday that the documentary 'We've Lost Dale Earnhardt: 25 Years Later' will air on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 10 p.m. ET on FS1. The doc "explores that day and its aftermath not just through competition, but through the emotional, cultural, and human impact felt by those inside and far beyond the race track."

Its a damn shame what Auto Club has turned into.....and includes what its not turned into. It sucked they were going to turn it into warehouses, etc. but the state its in now seems just as bad.

It's not going to get run. Clash should be at Daytona anyway...

It will be interesting to see what they do. Weather isn't looking good at all. I'd like to see the Clash go back to Daytona.

It is sad to see it like this. At this point I doubt there is ever a race there again. I don't see the short track ever being built.

That would be a disgrace. Maybe even worse than Bowman Gray… could you just imagine getting to tune in tomorrow to watch a 1:00 PM start at Daytona?!?

That's what I prefer. But WCS and BG are the same size so what's the difference if they are bound and determined to run it at a short track. And as late as they ran it they could have run it n Raleigh

All kidding aside, I am ready for the local short track racing to start. Side note: tip of the hat to the workers over there at Bowman Grey. I know they have their work cut out.

According to NASCAR insights, this coming up race could be one of the coldest in history. Richmond spring race in 1990 was 31 degrees. Monday's race time will be 30 degrees and then dipping into the 20's.

All for something that hardly anybody is going to watch to begin with... those cars on that track ain't racing.

They had to tweak the events in order to fit everything into one day. There are 38 cars trying to make the Clash.

They ditched the heat races and are going with qualifying results, with the top 20 making the race.

Then the remaining 18 cars will race in a 75-lap Last Chance Qualifuer race and 2 will move on to the Clash. There will also be one provisional driver.

That 75-lap LCQ will probably be a lot of action.
