Exhibition games include a visit to South Carolina on Aug. 10, a home game hosting Elon on Aug. 13, and a visit to Campbell on Aug. 17.
The official schedule opens on Aug. 22 at Dail Soccer Stadium in Raleigh when the red-and-white welcome High Point, followed by Florida Gulf Coast a few days later on Aug. 25. The Wolfpack will hit the road to James Madison on Aug. 31, followed by a home stretch of four games with California (Sept. 6), Winthrop (Sept. 10), Stetson (Sept. 13), and UNCW (Sept. 17).
The pair of triangle rivals will be faced back-to-back to open the ACC campaign with a visit to North Carolina on Sept. 20, followed by a home contest with Duke on Sept. 27. Conference play continues with an inaugural trip to Stanford on Oct. 4, then a visit to Virginia Tech on Oct. 11 before returning home to host Hofstra (Oct.15) and SMU (Oct. 19).
To close out non-conference action, NC State will travel to William & Mary on Oct. 23. The final home game at Dail Soccer Stadium will be played against Louisville on Oct. 27, followed by a regular season finale in Winston-Salem with Wake Forest on Nov. 1.
Seven of the Pack's opponents finished inside the top-25 of the final Division I men's soccer rankings last season. Conference play gains more strength with the addition of California, SMU, and Stanford to the ACC, making six of the eight conference foes slated this fall to have finished in the top-25 for the 2023 campaign.
The 2024 ACC Tournament will begin on campus sites Nov. 6-10 for the first and second rounds then moves to WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary Nov. 14-17.
The first and second rounds of the 2024 NCAA Tournament will take place Nov. 21-24, the sweet sixteen is set for Nov. 29-Dec. 1, followed by the elite eight Dec. 6-8, and finally trailed by the College Cup, which returns to WakeMed in Cary Dec. 13-16.
