With the help of an electric crowd, NC State volleyball was able to take down Duke, 3-0 (26-24, 25-20, 26-24) for its third consecutive home Atlantic Coast Conference win on Sunday evening in Reynolds Coliseum.

The Pack (12-9, 6-4 ACC) wrapped up its October home slate unblemished (3-0), including winning all nine sets played at Reynolds Coliseum in the month.

Junior Kristen McDaniel led the Pack with her second consecutive, and team-leading sixth double double of the year as she recorded 13 assists and 11 digs. Additionally, the setter posted a match-best three service aces, tying her career high.

Senior Jade Parchment racked up a game-high 12 kills with four digs while graduate student Melissa Evans followed behind with 11 kills on .360 hitting with a season-high four blocks. Freshman Maggie Jones tossed a game-high 18 assists while junior Taylor Rowland paced the defense with a match-best 16 digs, tying her career high, and libero Kaylee Frazier added 14 digs.

NC State's defense stepped up big time as the team recorded a season-high seven team blocks with sophomore Riley Shaak leading the way with five blocks. The Pack recorded eight service aces in the match, the highest total this season.

Set One (NC State 26, Duke 24)
The Pack began the match on fire, jumping out to a quick 3-0 run capped off by an ace from Rowland. Duke (12-9, 3-7 ACC) responded with a quick 4-0 run to take the lead. The middle of the set was close until Duke reeled off another 4-0 run to take a commanding 20-16 lead which forced NC State to use both of its timeouts. The Pack fought hard to tie the game at 24-all before Rowland sealed the deal with back-to-back kills.

Set Two (NC State 25, Duke 20)
Neither team could control a lead early in the set until NC State caught fire by going on a 5-0 run to take a 10-5 lead that it would not relinquish. McDaniel had a stellar second set as she recorded seven assists and all three of her aces while getting two digs. McDaniel had more aces than Duke as a team (3-2) in the set.

Set Three (NC State 26, Duke 24)
The final set seemed to be all Duke as the Blue Devils held a solid lead throughout the middle and end of the set. The Pack never gave up hope, battling back from a 19-15 deficit to tie the score at 20. Duke answered with a charge, eventually getting to set point at 24-21. Trying to earn the sweep, Parchment and Evans tallied kills to force Duke to use a timeout with a tight 24-23 lead. Coming out of the timeout, the Blue Devils recorded an attacking error that made all 1,195 fans stand to their feet. Evans recorded another kill before an error by Duke allowed NC State to cap off a 5-0 run at the end of the game to complete the sweep.

NC State volleyball held off a fierce Clemson squad as it earned a 3-1 (25-21, 27-25, 17-25, 25-19) Atlantic Coast Conference victory on Friday night inside of Jervey Gym.

With the win, the Wolfpack (13-9, 7-4 ACC) increased its win streak over the Tigers (11-11, 3-8 ACC) to three games while winning 12 of the last 14 meetings.

NC State could not hold on and dropped a 3-1 (25-20, 14-25, 17-25, 16-25) decision to No. 14 Georgia Tech on Sunday evening in Atlantic Coast Conference volleyball action inside of O'Keefe Gymnasium.

The Pack (13-10, 7-5 ACC) took the first set but the Yellow Jackets' (19-3, 10-2 ACC) offense caught a smooth rhythm in the second set and never looked back.

Junior Kristen McDaniel recorded her fourth double double in as many games with 21 assists and a team-best 10 digs with two service aces. Graduate student Melissa Evans led the offensive charge with 15 kills while playing solid defense as she recorded a career-high tying and game-high seven blocks.

Junior Hannah Wander had a great outing serving as she recorded two aces, tied career high, in six attempts. Additionally, sophomore Riley Shaak posted two service aces.

Set One (NC State 25, Georgia Tech 20)
The Pack stayed close with the Yellow Jackets early before popping off a 7-2 run to take a 12-7 lead forcing Georgia Tech to use a timeout. NC State almost saw their lead diminish but an error and an ace from Shaak created a 20-15 lead that it would not relinquish. The Wolfpack held the high-powered Yellow Jackets to a .105 hitting percentage in the set.

Set Two (NC State 14, Georgia Tech 25)
Georgia Tech came with different energy in the second set as it took a 1-0 lead and never looked back. The Pack stayed close early but a couple of errors and Georgia Tech kills allowed the Yellow Jackets to create a gap too big to recover from.

Set Three (NC State 17, Georgia Tech 25)
The Yellow Jackets offense came to play once again in the third set as the team hit .423 with 13 kills to take a 2-1 lead over NC State. The Pack battled hard in the set, recording 10 kills but had eight attacking errors that gave Georgia Tech enough momentum to gain the lead.

Set Four (NC State 16, Georgia Tech 25)
The final set was a battle early as there were three ties and two lead changes by the fourth point. Tied at 4-all, Georgia Tech reeled off 3-0 run that got the fans on their feet, diminishing any momentum NC State had. NC State tried to battle back but could not regain much momentum and fell in four sets to the Yellow Jackets.

With the win, the Wolfpack (15-12, 9-7 ACC) increased its win streak over the Cavaliers (8-19, 1-16 ACC) to eight games dating back to the 2016 season.

Leading the offensive charge for NC State was senior Jade Parchment who racked up her seventh double-double of the season with a match-high 12 kills on .290 hitting with 10 digs and two service aces. Junior Kristen McDaniel recorded her team-best 10th double-double of the season with a match-high 26 assists and 10 digs.

NC State kept its composure late in the set to hold off a fierce comeback to grab the first set.

The second set was a battle as neither team could maintain a consistent offensive rhythm. After the fourth tie of the set at the fourth point, the Pack used a Cavalier error and a block to gain a two-point lead at 6-4.
