LOL, It's not stressful it's just some of the complaints I (we) get are like *** man. I get a notice when a post is flagged (from both sides) and I read the post flagged and think why the hell was this flagged. I keep going back to him but Ernie was the one outlier. There was not question as to what to do with him. I will go through and edit some post that are border line crossing the line. It's really simple. Attack the post, not the poster. You can reply to a post without referring to someone as a POS, or commie, We are all Americans. We just have a different view of things politically.

Is anyone BUT Glass a mod here? Maybe that's one big difference in here vs The Brickyard...there seemed to be at least 3 or 4 mods on that forum at all times keeping the peace, so to speak. Trying to monitor this place by yourself is an overwhelming task for anyone.

My next door neighbor, the previous vice president, got elevated to president when the office fell open and he leaned on me hard to fill his old position. Four years later, I'm doing my last official duty next month, conducting an election to replace him, me, and the current secretary. I'm getting too old to put up with that crap.

Of course I recognize that it is completely up to you to decide whether to have a forum like this on the site, but I would really hate to see it closed down. I don't know all of the factors that go into your decision, but as Cary mentioned above please consider all of the paying users who may visit the site primarily to post in The Water Cooler...and may leave and/or cancel membership without it. Plus, state fans are interested in many things besides sports and there aren't many convenient forums where they can discuss these things. My sub expires next September, if the WC goes away, I at least will have time to decide if sports boards alone are worth it.

I mean, there's a few that go back and forth( both sides have crazies)but I haven't seen much of anything to warrant it going away.

It leans right with topics and posts for sure but again that's not a reason to take it away.

It all comes across that someone doesn't like the topics being posted and they are the ones really complaining to James.

If James doesn't answer DM's but answers texts that's a pretty dead giveaway who is doing the complaining.

But yeah, if you own it you can do what you want.
