Literally the Republican Party platform in 2026.
More of the same.
Talk about low-information voters.
You may not like "Democrat" solutions but at least they don't weave a rich tapestry of totally fake problems for consumption by the low or no-information portion of their base.
Do you not see what is happening across some of Europe's largest cities because of mass migration, Islam and socialism?
That is exactly what will happen in America given the democrats plan and another 20 years. We are lucky to have two oceans separating us from the world.
Would it kill you to acknowledge there is a problem?
What plan of Democrats are you referring to?
What legislation?
What policy?
What leaders are promoting it?
Respectfully, were you living under a rock during the Biden administration's open borders where at least 10 million illegals, from all parts of the world, flooded into our country?
It all starts with mass migration from mostly third world countries. The legislation will be amnesty. The policy will be sell the country out for votes and have one party rule. Leaders promoting it? From Obama to Governors and Mayors to legislators and judges in sanctuary Sates and cities to the media. We see it everyday where democrats and leftists refuse to work with immigration control.
It amazes me someone as smart and educated as you absolutely refuses to acknowledge what you can literally see happening across Western Europe in real time. How bad does it have to get before we wake up?
Let me ask you, do think socialism/Islam/wokeness has more traction with the democrats or the republicans?
Not living under a rock personally, but when I go outside in the Triangle every day, I don't see 10 million illegal immigrants flooding our country from "the third world".
I do see a substantial increase in cost of living. That's just my eyes though.
Because you don't see it from your nice neighborhood means it's not happening?
We can literally see the effect of socialism mass immigration, Islam, wokeness across Western Europe. Yet we stick our fingers in our ears and say lalalalalala….
Did your eyes see the substantial increase in cost of living during the Biden administration? Thats where all of this started.
I'll wager, outside of higher gas prices which will come down, your life is no different today than it was three years ago? Am I wrong? Please explain because all ears.
Firstly, It's disingenuous to point all the issues in Europe to immigration, Islam, and wokeness. The US has systemically pulled back from Europe and decided to wage its own war in Iran, to nobodies benefit except perhaps Big Oil. There has been a major cost of living crisis in Europe ever since the Ukraine war started. We have told Russia "have at it". My foreign policy would always be to blockade Russia and defend NATO. Removing it does not help us.
Secondly, consumer spending is way down. It's almost zero. Businesses projections are down across the board. People aren't spending money, so the strain is on anyone who is not a billionaire. My day to day is different, I support my entire family (parents included). I'm the first college grad of my family. So yeah, it is different for me. This is not the sign of a functioning economy. My policy would be to stop providing corporate welfare and cutting individual citizen programs to support it.
The billionaire class has flourished, they are spending more and more on influencing our politics, gaining control of major industries (AI for one) with zero regulation. There is no benefit to regular Americans to have such a concentration of wealth.
Just don't let the immigration story blind you from the centralization of money and power under this administration.
If you want to stick to your hardline immigration policy, I'm not really that offended by that. But to me it sounds like you're willing to turn a blind eye to literally everything else because of it, which is where I see the fault.
What I've seen in this midterm election is people aren't voting for abstract problems they heard about on the news, more what's on their front door. We'll see on Tuesday.
Some fine points you make and well articulated.
As someone who spends a lot of time throughout Europe both working and living, I'll politely disagree with you. All of Europes problems start and end with mass migration from third world countries. Islam is a major part of that. There is a clear difference in countries like England and Germany and a country like Poland. It's night and day and it's because two of those countries are overrun with third worlders and one is not.
"Consumers spending is way down".
The 3rd quarter GDP report is at 3.4% largely fuel by consumer spending.

Robust consumer spending, AI-related investment power US economy in third quarter
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-economic-growth-accelerates-third-quarter-2026-10-29/Gross domestic product increased at a 3.4% annualized rate last quarter, the quickest since the third quarter of 2025, the Commerce Department's Bureau of Economic Analysis said in its first estimate of third-quarter GDP. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast GDP advancing at a 3.2% pace.
The economy is expanding at a pace that is well above what some Fed officials regard as the non-inflationary growth rate of around 2%. Stocks on Wall Street were trading lower. The dollar slipped against a basket of currencies. US Treasury yields fell.

The daily doom and gloom from the media is pushing this narrative of a terrible economy. Outside of higher gas prices, it ain't true.
Billionaires in politics is nothing new. You want to change that, change the law but it needs to apply to both sides not just the side we disagree with. Likewise, you want to tax billionaires…fine with me. Tax the ever living sh*t out of Soros, Oprah, Gates, Buffet, JayZ and MeBron, Hollywood, media…etc. Make sure we tax them all not just the side we disagree with.
We agree that November 3rd will be very interesting.
PS something needed to done with Iran. President Trump could have waited until after mid terms. There must be a reason he did not.
