im fairly certain the only people injured or killed so far in ICE shooting incidents with protesters are Marimar Martinez (who was shot 5 times after ICE rammed her vehicle and then they lied about it) and now Renee Good.

If you don't question stopping US Citizens for no probable cause other than they are of Latino decent and demanding ID, then you're in agreement with that tactic. I can't think of another reason why that would be an option for enforcement of a policy other than racial profiling.

Presumably the administration leaked this to be exculpatory but this looks awful for the agent.

Through the windshield as viewed from his own footage the agent can clearly see her backing up and then turning the wheel to the right, away from him, prior to shooting her in the face three times.

If you're trying to ram somebody, why back up to give yourself some space and then turn the wheel away from them?

Then calling her a "****ing *****" seconds after mortally wounding her?

The optics of this are horrible for the agent.

Great summary of why this agent provocatively circling her car filming it with his cell phone which put him near the front of her car as she pulled away isn't justification to use deadly force.

The agent clearly escalated the situation unnecessarily, used poor and provocative tactics, and created the very danger people are now claiming justified deadly force. All of this is in violation of the jeopardy doctrine and is going to be hammered at trial.

Sorry I got it wrong on thinking the lady didn't see the officer, it seemed reasonable based on the videos available l, but instead she was trying to descalate the situation, which btw the ICE agents could have also done once she started letting cars through.

BTW, are ICE agents trained to shoot at moving vehicles? I bet that agent at the drivers door is thankful he didn't get a bullet to the head too.
