Illegals get stabilizing care and emergency medical conditions treated in ER's because Ronald freaking Reagan said they should 40 years ago and spearheaded the legislation codifying that, and Americans rightly agreed for decades. We can't have people bleeding out or giving birth on a sidewalk while we confirm their immigration status.
No Dem is proposing any different treatment for illegals.
The bill specifies and clarifies eligibility for lawfully admitted immigrants, not illegals.
