I just wanted to check in to see if hokie had posted anything about the Garner kidnappers being here illegally...
you continue to distort severely my opinion on the subject.
Okay. What is your opinion?
We shouldn't sacrifice due process for expediency. We shouldn't also be sending people to foreign prisons unless we are 100% sure they belong there. That evidence needs to be part of that due process. Otherwise we are no longer a country of individual freedoms.
Additionally, how about we stop musing about sending US citizens to foreign prisons? Because that gets political real damn quick.
What if AOC gets elected as President and decides that J6 people weren't punished enough and has them arrested and sent to foreign prisons? I'm sure a portion of this country would welcome that outcome without thinking of the sacrifice to individual freedom too.
I don't care about due process for illegals and gang members. I care about AMERICANS. I don't know how much traveling you've done but you should try to enter any number of S. American countries illegally. It might just be the eye opener you need.
Sorry bud, the Constitution doesn't care that you don't care about due process.
If you want to ignore the Fifth and Fourteenth, change the Constitution.
You don't care about the Constitution no more than the man on the moon. Liberals hate the Constitution and that time period in American history. This is simply GET TRUMP.
Umm...no.
How is requiring that Trump follow laws "getting Trump?"
Sorry, Trump has to abide by the Constitution.
Caring about the Constitution isn't some abstract idea; it's basically saying you care about laws.
Yes,, I think it's very important that we, including and especially the President, abide by laws (and rules, and norms) and get held accountable by the courts if we don't.
It's super weird that you don't think the President should have to follow laws or that you'd object to courts telling him so.
