That's some un-solid ground to stand on. I vociferously oppose Trump letting Putin be rewarded for aggression, but OTOH, today's western world is looking pretty weak, corrupt, and chaotic. It's harder to judge Trump's actions using the yardstick of modern western norms and values, because the rest of the west has squat for leadership.
