Funny but if true, should be fired. I had no idea how pampered Federal workers were before DOGE started up. Do I have empathy for people impacted by layoffs, yes. But welcome to the real world where companies/businesses frequently downsize. More with less is a common theme! And their workers are held accountable, have to submit progress reports and have year end reviews. Some of the stuff I have read recently should result in immediate firings and if not fired, put on probation. It's insane.
I do wonder if the media is going to realize a lot of these sob stories they are putting out about the federal workforce are going to have the opposite effect. I share the same sentiments as you do regarding layoffs and job uncertainty, but welcome to the real world people.
