Watch democrats end the shutdown now that these elections are over. Would be absolutely disgusting using the suffering of others to generate voter turnout. I guess we shall see.

I think you're missing the point I'm trying to make and that's ok. Maybe I'm not expressing it correctly. I'm not comparing what is worse, what I'm saying is it's getting worse, and the lowest common denominator keeps getting elected. It's like a one oneupmanship of ****ty partisanship.

It will continue until we bottom out I suppose and realize we're all neighbors with actual common ground and not living around or going to church with Hitler and Lenin.

If you are looking for blame politically, I think Winsome Sears ran a terrible campaign on one issue that was low on the priorities of the voters and it dragged the entire ticket down.
